KT: My previous set lasted a long time (15+ years), but over time the handles that screwed onto the rod and connected to the tool started to wobble, so I decided at the end of the winter, it was time to get a new set of fireplace tools.
My primary goal for my new set was to get a set that was long enough for me to tend to the fire without bending over and for it to last a lifetime. This set is exactly what I was looking for regarding durability (I honestly cannot imagine a more durable set than this), and although I wish that it was a little longer, I don't mind bending down a little to tend to the fire. The other beef that I have with this setup is that the handles are a bit uncomfortable to hold while I am tending to a fire for a long period of time. It is rare that I actually tend to a fire for multiple hours, but when I did with my previous poker and shovel, it was nice having a comfortable grip to hold. When I purchased these, I knew that it would be a problem, so I actually bought another set that had that some major problems on a deep discount that I could use for a poker and a shovel when I need to tend to fire all night. PamPam: After doing a lot of research online and reading reviews we came across this fireplace set on the manufactures website. They were out of stock on the tall set and it’s really what we wanted. Amazon had it in stock, cheaper and we received it in one day. Easy to assemble, heavy duty, excellent quality and we will be buying another one for outdoor fireplace.

Chicy: Well made. Easy to assemble piece to hand the tool set on. Tools are nice and heavy but not too heavy for use, just a real nice weight. I looked at a lot of fireplace tool sets here at some local shops and was not pleased with any of the ones I looked and, so ordered this set based on Amazon reviews. I would recommend this set to anyone who is looking for an excellent fireplace set.
