k petrilla: With so many fireplace tool sets it was tough to find one that fixed all the problems with the one I had
this tool set is prefect, the tool handles are not to short like most and the shafts are solid steel making for a sturdy feel and more robust for use, the log clamp is nice and sturdy too--the people complaining of it wobbling or not lining up correctly are asking to much for the money--just bend the tab on the foot piece to align the feet--2 seconds to fix
You will not hate this set, all the tools do not fall everywhere when you get a tool off, and the finish is powder coated and it looks good

Max: Bristles started coming off of the brush immediately. Tongs also would not stay closed while hanging and kept trying to swing down and open up. Everything else was good but retuned due to multiple issues.

Mapleaf: Easy to assemble. I like the Shepard hook handles and how all the tools are on one side. Matches my fireplace insert. Good practical tool shapes.

Caity: Purchased for our outdoor fire pit. They’re not the greatest tools, but they get the job done. The finish on the poker is already coming off after 1 season and is getting a little crumby. The stand isn’t that sturdy, but it stays up. A lot of reviews didn’t like the log grabber but honestly we love it. Overall, it’s not the nicest set but for the price and what we use it for it gets the job done and we can’t complain.
