DUANE: All the glow rod tips are all falling off. It was nice to see how many feet of glow rods come in the kit, but I have had it for a month and a week and they are all broken. Not built well. I can't get a refund either.... after just having it for a over a month.

Brown...: I decided to order another fish rod kit, to supplement one I already had, and was instantly impressed. Minus a few somewhat major flaws this is one of the best fish rods I've used. This rod is very capable and will do what it’s designed to do. I mainly use fish rods as a part time hobby running lines for CCTV and DIY stuff around the house. I was impressed that the threads matched my other rod kit, so I was able to make longer runs. A single section of the rod is very flexible, to the point I could touch the two ends together, but sturdy enough it didn’t break.

This plasticity can be very beneficial at times but can also become a hindrance when trying to push several sections of the extended pole. The much-lauded flexibility can keep the tip from going in the intended direction. Another issue is the crimps and the metal used. The first day I used this rod kit I lost a couple sections inside of a blind area of a porch due to a crimp coming lose. They’ll probably never be recovered unless someone tears the home apart. Several days later, I was pulling a Cat5 using the eyelet ring to follow an existing cable up through an interior wall when the eyelet...

KRZWhitney: We’ve bought 2 sets of these and they work well. They are more flexible so for long runs you’ll hit studs and such if you fishing across the ceiling. We have had quite a few of the connectors come off with very little pressure applied to them. That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Chris Sharp: This is one of the best fish rod kits I've encountered. The threads fit together well so the rods don't come apart around a bend. They're very flexible but also very sturdy, and they're thin enough that I've fit them through some places where the Cat6 I was running barely fit through. The spring steel tip is great for working through insulation or through wads of other cable, and also through conduit. My only complaint is the tips get caught up in the tube and make it hard to fit all the rods in sometimes. It would be better if there was a compartment in one of the ends that they went in.

Melissa R.: I'm a tv installer and these things came in SUPER handy for a job i had the same day i got them.. don't get me wrong I've owned glow rods before but most are either very expensive or not very durable. These are neither... They're awesome.
First off, they're rigid yet extremely flexible which comes in handy when you're fishing wires.
Second.. the attachments... wow.. the attachments...
His a screw on hook
Screw on ring
Screw on soft extension
Screw on CHAIN (Saved me 2 hours work time today)
And various other attachments. If you're an installer or an avid do it yourselfer... do yourself a favor and just buy these...
