Derek: Purchased this as a business purchase. Every once in a while I got in a pinch. And was vacuuming string with a fish on the end through ect ect. But happy I picked this up. The other way works fine like I was doing prior. But this saves a bunch of time an energy an time is money. Definitely will be picking up another. Very happy with it

Matthew Steuer: It worked like it was supposed to. I fished about 70ft of 10-3 through 60ft of inch-and-a-half conduit, with two 90 degree turns. I like this better than my metal tape, that this replaced.

Sam L.: I used this to replace some old wiring in my house. Worked very well for pulling wires from the basement, through the wall to upstairs. Did this the same way 3 times no problem. Well worth the cost even if i never use it again.

Vahe: Bought an IDEAL steel fish tape from Lowes, when tried to use it I found that the steel fish tape bends in 2 dimensions only (up/down or left/right), if you have up/down and left/right angles the regular fish tape will not work. With this VGongTech fish tape I was able to fish my wire thru all pipes and angles without any issue.

Dan: I think this is a very sturdy puller, BUT since it has a rubbery coating on it, it may have to be lubricated under certain circumstances. I used it to pull wire through a 1/2-inch PVC cable conduit without using lubricant and had issues of it constantly getting stuck feeding it through before attaching the wire to be pulled through. I believe the problem others were having was the coating and not because the wire was previously coiled up in shipping. I bought it to pull wire through conduit, not to pull wires through walls. I don't believe it would be helpfull there because it is wire. However, I am happy with the purchase.

Andrew M.: This fish tape is awful! I have a 25ft metal tape that I've used for years. I needed to do a longer run so thought I would try this out. It is so flexible it just bends, folds, and gets caught on everything. This may work for short runs through a small conduit under 20ft but it certainly won't push 100ft through a conduit. This is total junk and total waste of money.

D. Martin: I have tried to fish two PVC 3/4" conduits several times with my1/4" steel fish that I have had for years. It just wouldn't do two corners and it seemed to jam on the corner joints. When I got this, I thought something was wrong as the fish kept going and going way too easily until it popped out the other end. It is much easier to use than the traditional fish as you don't have to "unwind" it. I thought that uncoiling and coiling it back up would become a monster but it was much easier than winding my steel fish with it's plastic holder. I don't know how workable a longer fish of this type would be but this 10m one has no issues. The natural coil diameter is about 2' or 60 cm. It was worth the low price just to do this job. A piece of velcro later, it is hanging in my tool shed. This is a great addition to my tools.
