Puppeteergirl: This fountain has worked consistently for 2 years. I've cleaned and changed the filters regularly and it has been so easy. The past few months the fountain has overflowed or something and created a mini lake in my kitchen a couple of times. I am not using the tall spout attachment as my cat doesn't seem to like it. Maybe some little object lodged in the fountain tube and caused the water to spray? Not sure. My cat doesn't usually play or "paw" at the water (when I see him drink) so I don't think it's him. Anyway, a quick mop up a few times within 3 months isn't a huge deal, just odd. I would still recommend this product.

J. P. Ruz: Looks and feels really good and solid (this review is about the stainless steel one). The assembly was really easy, and got it working in less than 10 minutes. We are 1 week in and our youngest kitty (4 months old) took to it in less than an hour with the "flowing stream" mode. Our oldest (6 mo) can't yet wrap her head around how to drink from the fountain and goes for her old water bowl (that she likes to move around so the water splashes tyvm).
Cat pickiness aside, we rate it 4 stars because we found out that on "gentle bubbling mode" our water tray was slightly bent upwards and made the water to shoot back out of the tray. Today I fixed the issue pushing down (really carefully but with enough force) on the center of the water tray and it appears to have returned to the correct shape and now it really "gently bubbles". Let's see if this mode is easier for our oldest to drink off of it. In this mode it isn't really "quiet", but we like the sound of running water.
I read some people saying that you have to open it to refill it... What? You just have to pour water on the tray slowly so it doesn't overflow.

Gladari: This is a very attractive kitty fountain. I like the height of the water fall and the large size of the drinking tray. This also makes it easier to refill - I use purified drinking water as our tape water is incredibly hard and very high in calcium. The large filter is a plus, also. I would have given it 5 stars except for one big drawback for me - the MAX & MIN water level markers are very hard for me to read - white print on white reservoir! I need to set a flashlight down alongside the fountain to see the markers when I'm refilling the reservoir! Please, manufacturers, some of us need contrast to be able to read your fonts! Maybe a choice of font colors for those who'd like that.

mayamaya: It's a water fountain and does what it's supposed to. I purchased this to replace an all plastic one that I've had for several years for a stainless steel fountain because it's supposed to be more hygienic. I knew there would be plastic, but it's mostly plastic. The only stainless steel is the plate that you see, so that's an oversight on my part. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. 1. The plate is very shallow. It doesn't sit deep into fountain or have any clips. It sits barely on the top of the fountain, so it's not really secure. 2. The cord was way too short compared to the fountain it was supposed to replace. I was unable to use it in the space where it was supposed to go, so instead of returning it, I am using it in another room that had just a standard bowl.

Liliana Domínguez: No hace ruido, no derrama agua y lo mejor es que tiene una almohadilla adentro que filtra el agua muy bien. El plato es de aluminio y eso me gusta mucho mantiene el agua más fresca. Si se corta el Suministro de luz mantiene agua en el platito a un nivel para que no se queden sin agua, a diferencia de otras fuentes.

Adam Skinner: # Comparison with Catit Water Fountain

The design of this cat fountain is leagues better than the Catit Flower Fountain I was using before.

The Catit has a larger reservoir, but it's also round, which means that in addition to being physically larger, it has a lot of wasted space. I the fountain next to a wall, and it's only approached from one direction. The PetLibro's oval design and unidirectional font make a better use of space.

The PetLibro maintains a pool of water that is constantly being cycled. The Catit doesn't have such a pool, merely a surface water slides off of.

The motor comes with an attachment that feeds water directly where it needs to be. No more fiddling with putting the Catit lid back on just-so. The motor requires less power than the Catit; I plugged the motor into the Catit adapter and the water overshot the pan because it was receiving too much power. Using the included wall adapter fixed that problem.

The Catit was easier to fill. I would just pour water on top and it would flow into the reservoir. Filling this will happen more frequently, since it is smaller, and requires the removal of both the pan and the filter...

Paola Piliado: Mis gatos ahora toman muchisima mas agua que antes gracias a esta fuente. Es muy silenciosa (practicamente solo se escucha el agua correr) y el modelo se ve bonito en la sala. Es facil de instalar ya leyendo el instructivo y tiene varios repuestos de partes extra en su interior ( esponjas de metal extra, tiene 4 filtros extra y un cepillo para limpiar la boquilla donde pasa el agua). Es facil de limpiar y la verdad con el uso que le hemos dado se paga practicamente sola. La recomiendo muchismo
