Jason: I have a 10 gallon tank filled with gold fish which are notorious for being dirty fish. The air stone collects algae more than anything else in the tank, it’s difficult to clean due to how porous it is. Not the fault of the manufacturer, could just be my setup. Stone works well and puts out a lot of bubbles. The fish seems to love it.

James P.: Works excellent, and the fish love to swim through the bubbles. Strange though, is that it only emitted bubbles from a small part of the stone at first. I have a brand new extra large air pump so did not see why it would not push bubbles through the entire stone area. It worked good enough though, so I let it be. Eventually, after a couple months, it got to emitting bubbles from the entire surface area. So yes it works just like in the pictures, but takes awhile for some reason. It is still awesome and would recommend to others.

Andy: The media could not be loaded.  As time passed (3-4 months) the bubbles became less fine, but that doesn't bother me at all (there's still a a possibility that the bubbles look "thicker" because the stone is covered with rubble)
Pros:
- large size, which creates a nice round column of air in the middle of the tank
- has never come off from the bottom of the tank, once I secured it with the suction cups
- can be nicely buried under the rubble
- this is a fraction of the price you usually find for any accessories in the pet stores
Cons:
- none so far
