Jennifer: I think I may have used these for a year if not definitely a good few months. I've used one stone and it still lasted long, its thinner but still around 70% there. All it needs is a small plastic tubing and a pump. It helps oxygenated the water and keep fish alive and happy. It isn't too loud and rather pleasant to see the small stream of bubbles. My fish like to poke at it sometimes.

dsouth1111: The air stone on my minnow bucket broke. I thought about replacing the bucket but that would have been about 30 bucks. I looked around on Amazon and found these. It fits and works perfectly. I have extra stones for future accidents or loss.
