trabo: The Python should be a mandatory purchase for anyone with an aquarium. Seriously it’s going to save me years off my life. Unless you have a tiny tank or some weird sink/siphon situation the Python is the best thing you can buy.
Beware the 25’ tube is large and if you don’t have a 30+ gallon tank or if you have a lot of plants, consider a smaller one.
The only flaw is it needs a connector to attach to pull out sinks.

Navybean68: So far I've only used this to empty the tank, but that alone makes this worth it. It was so quick and I was also able to suck out a lot of the sand during a substrate change.

Amazon Customer: Do you like lugging buckets of water back and forth from your sink to your tank? No? Welcome to the club. This life saver was recommended to me by a fellow fish friend, and while it is a bit $$ for a bit of tube and some fittings, is worth every penny. (This hobby is expensive anyways...who are we kidding) I have 3 tanks and tank cleaning was something that I dreaded because it was so time consuming and the towels everywhere. I love my fishes so I would begrudgingly do the weekly task, but it was not my favorite thing to do. Then we got this. Now it's so easy and quick, I really have no excuse not to do my weekly water changes and my fishies are happy too. We use our bathroom sink to run the water in and out of, and I've had no issues with suction or filling. Simple, plug and play. I would 100% recommend to other fish keepers, especially if you have bigger or multiple tanks. Heck, even if you don't! Get it anyways! Why not make the job easier?! Make you and your fish happy :)

AmazonAddict: This is the new and improved Python - new brass faucet connector prevents faucet leaking. It replaces one I've had for 20 years. Connections don't last forever and it was time to upgrade. Wouldn't use anything else. Easy to use - place the vacuum in the tank, let it bubble out the air. turn the switch at the connector to off. Turn on the faucet with the green connection in the down position, run to the aquarium and reverse the switch and you are ready to vacuum the substrate. When you are ready to fill, reverse the switch, get your tap water to the right temp and push the green connection up. Fill and you are done. I wouldn't have an aquarium without this critical tool.

Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary: I love my Python… I’ve owned one for the last 14 years. I moved to Europe and didn’t ship my old one with me, which is why I’ve ordered this new one. My only gripe is that the faucet attachment pieces are mostly plastic, and they sometimes pop off my faucet under pressure. Otherwise, no complaints. It’s easy to get replacement parts when needed.

xsheenah!: I bought 10+ simple goldfish to put in a large tank and had gotten out of a major accident.
I could not carry and did not enjoy having to cup or bowl water in and out of the tank for water fills and change. Luckily, I watched a TikTok/YouTuber who keeps ranchu goldfish and he often shows this product as his go-to water changing tool.
At first, I thought I wasnt able to even use it because the hose didnt fit in/on any of the faucets but luckily it worked on the one in the front yard after tinkering with nozzles, etc.
Even better, it wasn't more than 10 feet away from the tank which made it easier and reassuring that there wasn't going to be an issue if an accident happened.
After reading the instructions and making sure to place knobs and nozzles were in the correct position, I finally turned on the faucet it and it got the suction going and I started vacuuming all of the scummy, bummy debris in the tank without struggling to carry poop water by-the-bucket to the front yard; the fear spillage everywhere! And then after, I switched the nozzle to fill the tank and that was fantastic too!
Definitely does do a great, clean job when it comes to changing water...

Gypsy Lee: Was easy to install on to my faucet and worked immediately. I removed approximately 1/2 the water from my 35 gal tank because it had heavy nitrites and ammonia. It was the first time I removed water and it make this task so easy. I decided not to ADD water to the tank with this system because I worried that putting the chlorine remover into the tank would not mix well with the fresh water and worried it would harm my fish. I would love to know if others have added water and how it worked for them. I would definitely encourage others to use this systen as it was so easy and did a great job.

Jan S: Ok I bought the 50ft cord because I wasn't sure at the time which faucet in the house would work or exactly where I was going to have the aquarium (or multiple aquariums in the near future). I had no trouble connecting it to any bathroom or the kitchen faucet so it works everywhere for me. Here's the problem - to get good suction you have to turn up your water in your sink fairly high. When that happens my sinks tend to almost spill over - so I find myself running back and forth to turn the thing on and off to let the sink drain. I also hate the gravel cleaner part (although everybody uses this size) - it's too darn big to clean those crevices in your aquarium where all the serious debris is. - why not add an attachment that allows you to go under your rocks, or safely between plants etc. You can remove the attachment when you're done cleaning and ready to drain the tank BUT in my case I probably wouldn't have enough water pressure to get good suction. So how about making the diameter of the tubing about half the size - that would reduce the amount of water you have to run to get good suction with probably only making you wait an extra 5 minutes to remove the amount of water you...
