Outdoor Home Security Camera with 1080P HD, Wi-Fi Connectivity - by Laview

Mark: I have set up a few security cameras for other family members in the past 6 years. This is the first time I have used a wireless camera. The range is pretty good and the quality is great as well. I did have a problem with the SD card slot. Sometimes the card did not read and sometimes it did. I had to play around with it multiple times for it to work. I tried multiple cards and had the same problem with both cameras. I did get it to work tho. Other than that this camera system is perfect for the price!

glendon flemingglendon fleming: I waited for years, for the right camera and price. I am very happy with this (B9) laview camera. The only problem I had was linking it to google home. When asked to log in to the laview website from google home app, it popped up with a phone number login. I logged into Laview with email. I thought, i had used the wrong laview app. ( there is 4 diffrent ones) but the camera had a barcode scan to get yo the correct app. I was upset and confused. Then i just tried typing my email right over the phone slots to log into the app and it worked. After that hour of frustration everything went smooth. 9 ft of powercord for the camera, is barely enough to go up a wall, so i order 20 more feet of cable for under 10 bucks. I was also aggravated, that i couldn't find what kind of connecter I needed for the extention cords. I blew up pictures and threw the dice. It is the standard connecter or generic connector for security cameras I also, purchased the memory cards. I got a good deal on prime day, two cameras for $48, but with the memory cards and extension cords, I have about $75 into the two camera's. I really like them. Once set up, it is easy to use. S. OdomS. Odom: The media could not be loaded.  This is an excellent outdoor security camera that is worth every penny. A couple months ago I bought 2 LaView indoor cameras, and they work so well that I decided to try their external camera to monitor the front of my house.

Setup was a breeze – since I already had the LaView app I simply added this camera to my account and went through the same process as the indoor camera setup.

Installation was simple, it comes with mounting hardware and the long power cord was the perfect length to reach the power outlet just inside the front door.

Unlike the indoor LaView cameras, this one did not come with an SD card installed. So you'll need to buy a 64gb or 128gb microSD card for recording, which is way better than having to sign up for a monthly cloud storage service. It's so cool that all of the camera feeds appear in one screen...

Jeremy Faylor: Customer service was hands down the most excellent, reliable and painless experience I have experienced since this whole pandemic started.

The equipment is solid and it's design aesthetic is simple, clean and modern. Installation was a breeze and I found myself connected to the control center of a very feature-packed and user friendly interface to navigate. This setup can be easily accomplished by both new to home security tech and the more advanced or savvy users. For the price that you pay for such a suite of control, it definitely feels a bit higher-end considering the affordability.

We use this specific camera for outdoor use and it meets all of needs and then some. The only negative thing I could say about it after a week of use is the two-way speaker is somewhat of a funny fopa. Like this camera delivers in all the real areas of importance and then the microphone quality is awful, and if you're attempting to communicate with someone on the other hand, good luck getting them to understand a single world you're saying Mr. Roboto.

The HD resolution is crisp as long as you dont try to zoom in. I wouldn't suggest ever enabling sound...
