Not Crispy.
This cooked thick-cut maple bacon is only half cooked, not crispy, and it doesn’t seem to be any thicker than regular cooked bacon. It has an average sodium content of 280mg for two slices. This bacon would be good in soups, where it would be cooked longer, but it is not crispy enough to be used on a salad. It also uses the common preservative Sodium Nitrite. It also uses laxatives called Sodium Phosphates that are linked to accelerated aging and vascular damage. This bacon tastes good, but due to the bad preservatives and under cooked bacon, I could only give three Amazon Stars to: Oscar Mayer Maple Fully Cooked Thick Cut Bacon (2.52 oz Package).
