Bob from Carlisle PA: Bought this on a recommendation… and happy i did. If you are downsizing and/or having trouble letting things go… this book will help. Excellent mix of psychology, common sense in a plain language easy read style. Am buying another for a friend.

Christine J.: This is my absolute favorite book! I will pick it up and scan through it whenever I need motivation to clear some clutter. It is an easy read and really inspires you to make a change.
I have gifted this book to many.
The end results of clearing clutter is eye opening! The space becomes somewhere you want to be instead of avoiding. Does wonders for the mind and soul to surround yourself in a clean, clutter free space.

Michelle: I have followed feng shui for years but have never focused on clutter. This book makes so much sense. I am a chucker not a hoarder and I was amazed I had amassed clutter I don't even see! After following Karen's guidelines I feel so light! I am eager to see the future effects! I even found $5 whilst cleaning up the garden and later the same day recieved $500 unexpected money!

GoodnSimple: Can’t wait to get home from my trip and look at my space in a new way. Feng shui books often either assume you know what they are talking about or condescendingly explain every little thing. I didn’t feel lost nor spoken down to with this book.
I also appreciated it was more than the house number is unlucky, the door is on the wrong side or hang a mirror or put in a water feature. I feel like I can actually implement many of these practices and that it can be done incrementally not all or nothing.

claire w.: Absoloutely loved this book!
I am a complete novice at feng shui without any understanding but really liked the concept... and so glad I got this book before I read a feng shui book!
This high lights the importance of clearing before you start the feng shui but most importantly explains they why... but in the most interesting way and feels like a conversation with a friend and cuppa rather than an author.
Not boring at all, quite entertaining and lots of great anecdotes. Easy to visualise...
I have started putting these principles into practice and feel these are the base building pillars for any feng shui...
Now ready to start the next step of feng shui itself and hope the next book is as easy to read, understand, implement and enjoy as this one was!!

Kindle Customer: I am a clutterer of the messy type - blocking doors with stuff. This is not the first decluttering book i read - Mike Nelson got me started. Here is a very good step by step instruction and very convincing arguments which made me laugh and be happy about my situation and it's so much easier to let go of things.i think it's a very good read for the neat clutterers - Nelson's book might be a bit too much for them.

PhonosPhy’d: I could not be more thankful for finding this book. I have tried many others, and could not seem to adapt to their methods and suggestions. Maria Kondo seems to have been born to clean, that’s not me, and her suggestion to do it all at once assumes you don’t have that much work to do. She’s great for another yep of person but Karen Kingston spoke to the heart of the matter. It was immediately clear to me that she understands the minds and hearts of the clutter-bound who are overwhelmed and willing but don’t know how or where to start or proceed. She describes the mental/spiritual crisis and the cycle of how clutter perpetuates more clutter in a way that makes more sense than any other I’ve read. She speaks to the fang shut principles of energetic stuckness and accurately connects it to life circumstances that tend to manifest because of it.
The proof for me is in the result. I have daily steadily enjoyed the lightness of moving more and more stuff out of my space. I especially appreciate the categories she outlines they differ from the mainstream ideas you hear every day. I have recently got great mileage out of the unfinished category. I was surprised to find that it...

Lou M: This book will stay with you long after it's read. This book is tremendously insightful on how to allow good energy to flow through your home while removing objects that are obstacles to the path of serenity. It deeply motivates you to take action.
I've always enjoyed living in an aesthetically pleasing environment. An environment that I enjoy coming home to and reluctant on leaving. This book has deeply motivated me to continue my Feng Shui journey. Removing clutter and aligning what I own to enhance my life. It's a book worth reading and re-reading (at least various highlighted areas) refreshing one's energy.
I believer it would have been more effective if certain chapters were omitted but I can see the value of adding those chapters, they simply didn't enhance me personally. It doesn't take away from the fact that it's an Amazing book for de-cluttering one's life by using the Feng Shui techniques.
