B J S: The media could not be loaded.  This order was six 28 ounce bags. I was stunned when I saw the expiration date. I received it October 23 and the best by date is November 13, like three weeks. There is no way that I could cook that much barley and consume it all by myself in 3 weeks.

The outside of the box says in very large letters best if used by November 13, 2022. Then on the top of the box there is an expiration date April 2023. Even so I feel gypped. I feel like the supplier was underhanded. It would be different if this was for a family.

Dave: I Initially saw the expiration date as June 22. It's June 2023.

I made Instant Pot beef barley soup tonight, and this barley is fantastic. Everyone loves it.

B. Gill: Ok, I’ve always loved barley as in beef barley soup!
I never knew you could just use it for ANY soup or cold salad.
Well you can. Just like rice. Try it out!!
It’s really easy to cook. I can get a bit mushy if over cooked but that’s natural.
So watch your time, takes about 20 minutes from beginning to end.
