Janetartist: My local grocers no longer carry organic French lentils. These are definitely superior to the green lentils you find everywhere.

Barron Henley: My wife and I are vegan, and we eat a lot of lentils (protein). These are similar to black lentils in that they hold their shape and don't readily become mush like some split lentils do. Further, they taste great. We add them to all kinds of things, including salads. I've also made lentil bolognese with them and it was delicious.
