Aluminum jaws look like they were cut with a dull saw. Burrs left at all machined areas. Magnets not seated all the way in or straight. Alot of hand work with a file to get these to be useable.
The nylon jaws look good. Time will tell if they hold up.

Well constructed, and works well. I recommend this.
Some have commented about some of the magnets coming loose. That's not a big deal. Should they come loose, just use a dab of some superglue or epoxy and glue them back into place.

Bought these to assist in assembling AN fittings on race car fuel lines. The black reinforced plastic jaws hold well and does not mar the anodized finish on the fittings. Magnets could be a little stronger, but very nice product!

Fits great on my Wilton vise with 5" jaws. My vise doesn't have a model # stamped on it, so that's all I know... its great that you get 2 full sets of jaw inserts in 2 different materials.. The magnets could be a little stronger, but its not really necessary since they won't move once you tighten the vice down. If it becomes an issue, I'll just drill holes in them and use the screws to secure them to the vice jaws..

I dont see how you could beat these for the price. You get a set of soft jaws and a set of rubber jaws for one low price. They came in a nice retail type package, and fit nicely. They grip securely and dont move in use. The magnets are sufficiently strong so that they stay secured during use and will not marr the vise or work. They have about a 1/8" shelf in the top, which allows clamping of parts by the minimum required for a secure hold. In practice, this allows much better repeatability when taking parts in and out during operations, as it indexes back to the same place each time rather than just holding it somewhere in the jaws. These are not precision ground or advertised as such, so they should not be expected to be a precision tool. They are for holding work you wish not to dent/scratch as you work.
Overall, I am very impressed with these for the price. If you are shopping for a set of jaw guards to keep from marking parts as I was, these will fit the bill nicely I think. I dont think you can beat them at the price point for two sets of jaws.
