Okuma Ceymar Spinning Reel - Smooth and Responsive Fishing Reel for All Anglers

Quick delivery. I was worried if these remotes would really work right out of the gate on my Samsung TVs that I lost in my move. Well here’s the outcome 👍😀: Took some time getting accustom to filling the reel but was done I love the ease of it. And the drag adjustment is so much easier than before. I'm hoping to go out this Thanksgiving to try it out.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The reel is very smooth and well built. Love the matte dark green finish on it. The foam handles will come in handy during those colder wet days. If you're purchasing this reel, please look at the picture attached. The reel's spool is not as wide as shown in the amazon photo. Not sure which model that is but it's definitely bigger.

Mike G.: Coming from an entry level Shakespeare reel this Okuma is light years better and not much more money. The Shakespeare reel has a lot of play where this Okuma reel is solid and really smooth. The handle feels much better in hand as well. I gave my wife my old Shakespeare/Ugly Stick combo and whenever I use it I can immediately tell the difference.

I’ve never used a high end reel but can’t imagine it being that much better than this.

P. DeLuca: This is a mid-weight reel with a generally tight well constructed smooth nature. Mine came under lubed but soon smoothed out after a quick service. Very high value same size as my ITX reels but a little chunkier and not quite as refined. The vast majority of fishers will be well served by this high value reel. Drag smoothness and overall fit and finish make this a value added product indeed.

When it arrived it was of the same build quality I’ve come to expect but for one thing … where’s the spare spool? Both previous Ceyma’s came with a spare spool, so why not this one? Would have been 5 stars if it had.
