Kiz: Love this dehydrator so much that this is my 2nd purchase. Bought the first one about 3 years ago, still going strong. Just needed a second to keep up with all the fruits i dry. I'm gonna get a 3rd soon!

Glenn O: Turned the heat u a bit while drying Basel to speed up the process. The leaves are a lot thicker than parsley, so it does increase time required to dry them.

Zel: Drying takes a few hours which is expected but it does a great job. I like to have my food slowly drying overnight and it works good for pulling all-nighters. I like that it's see through as well so I can monitor the progress. Doesn't take up a lot of space, has plenty of room, and has a nice design to it. Only had it for a few days but it's been pretty good so far. The only thing is that it makes a clicking sound or it sounds like a water drop every few seconds. It's not much of an issue but it's something I've noticed. Other than that it's great.

Abe in SD: I had a dehydrator which I used for desiccant and filament to support 3D printing. Then, wanting to dry out some freshly harvested herbs, I recalled the desiccants are carcinogenic, so I got a clean unit (this one) for food-safe work.

The temperature is nice, and can go very low. This is important for some items. There's a ton of space, and I often use it to reconstitute stale potato chips and the like. There's no safety timer, so you can just run it how you want without having to work around when the device feels it is ok for you to use it.

Quiet, and the base is easy to clean, and you can put the drying racks on one of two ways for a close or tall spacing, as desired, for each level.

Recommended.

Kiya: I have been looking to purchase a dehydrator to make jerky. I didn't want to buy a super expensive one but I also didn't want a cheap one either. This NutriChef dehydrator was an affordable appliance and it works great! I've only used it once (I've only had it for a few days), but everything made with it has come out exactly the way I wanted. The directions are pretty helpful too (especially if you are a 1st time user such as myself).
