Ison: I am not a young person, so working digital equipment is sometimes difficult for me, especially, when 5-seconds is all the time to set both the time and temperature, or the unit requires you to begin all over again. Knobs with settings would have been easier to use. I rather imagine younger people would find that it would be best to have more than 5-seconds to set the settings would be better, too. As for the way the dehydrator worked, it does very well. I used it to dehydrate 7 full trays of tomato slices. The trays clean easily, especially when soaked in hot soapy water.

Matthew Laird: I did a lot of research and for all the features this unit has and the price it was what we were looking foe. as far as performance. the ability to set a time and temp is great. all it really needs is a magnet on the side with the recommended temp for the different types of food. this so far has been a GREAT buy.

Brian May: Product works well and as marketed. I can't find any documentation on how to effectively use the product. I use the Fast cycle to make jerky but have no idea how to use the Raw. Anyway, it's a good product just no clear ho to documents.

Rick V.: Really like this unit, does everything they say it does. I enjoy making dried fruits and veg. as well as venison jerky and this machine does it, very quiet for a fan machine, seems to be very close on temperature as well as maintaining temperature. Super easy to use.

LensupthereLensupthere: I've had this for a couple days and tried one rack of beef jerky, which came out amazing (and took less than 4 hours). 7 shelves of beef jerky will probably take longer.

I like that I can stack so many different fruits and dehydrate them together.

The smell from the vents is like the best room freshener, whether I'm dehydrating fruits or beef jerky!

ON/OFF switch - I use this single outlet switch (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TM1LG2P/) inline with an extension cable for turning the machine on and off (unplugging is too much work, lol). The switch has a circuit breaker and surge protector, and a little blue light indicating that it is on.

Mustang Mayhem: Well, I am fairly new to this concept of creating dehydrated food but I definitely did my homework. I evaluated many different machines and specifically looked at the features that were important to more seasoned veterans. The features that seem be discussed the most are flimsy plastic trays and doors that break quickly AND the sound level. Since I live in a small space (combined Living/Dining/Kitchen), the sound level was going to be the most important factor. After using this machine for a couple of batches of beef jerky, dried fruit etc, I am ecstatic with my purchase. This machine sits about 7 feet from where I watch TV and I can barely hear it. Very, very quiet, sturdy SS trays, sturdy see through plastic door, very easy to clean, very easy to use...…. works flawlessly.....so far! I would definitely recommend this product.... A1 rating.
