Vanessa Emilcare: This is a great blender . It work great , its powerful and consistent. The blender itself is very sturdy and a perfect weight size for moving it around . Kelly C: I bought this three months ago in April. Paid over $100 for it at the time. I previously just used my Oster blender for smoothies. It’s clear, after my first nutribullet smoothie, that I never had a real smoothie before. I couldn’t believe how silky smooth the smoothie was. Even with blackberries!! I love blackberry smoothies but the seeds were always way too much. I was so pleased with how well the nutribullet pulverized these seeds. I’ve never used ice with the smoothie so can’t comment on that, but I have used frozen fruit and veggies. I’ve noticed that in a short time, the blender has seemed to diminish in performance. I had a raspberry smoothie today and there were a few seeds that were left behind. Even though I let it blend the full minute.

I like that it shuts itself off after it is thoroughly blended. I wish the cups were a little larger. You can’t really fit too much in them, especially if using fresh kale and spinach. The smoothie cup has a “max” line about a third way down the cup. You don’t want to fill past it. You also want to make sure you have enough liquid. Ember Blue: My KitchenAid blender finally broke and I needed a new blender for smoothies but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I don't blend large amounts, I mostly just blend smoothies, and I'd like them to be totally liquified so I gave NutriBullet a try. I'm extremely happy with how it works for my purposes. It's loud, but you have to expect that a powerful motor is going to be loud, and you need a powerful motor if you want your stuff blended really smooth. A quiet and less powerful motor will not blend as smooth, it's just how things work. Anyways, it's easy to use. It is easier to clean than my old KitchenAid, but it's still a little difficult to get totally under the blades, so I use a very small bristle brush to get in there.

As some other people have said, after a while the tabs that engage the motor got stuck. When blending, a small amount of food must be leaking out, and it gets dried in those tabs and they eventually stick. If they stick then the motor won't turn on. I tried forcing them down by pushing really hard on the clear plastic cup but I was afraid the plastic tabs on the cup would break off (which has happened to other people). Instead I put...
