Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This Nostalgia skillet is so much more than a skillet. I call it my personal skillet and crock pot, but for a single person. In other words expect one serving size per meal. But, if you're looking to just cook for yourself, its perfect for an office, tour bus, road trip, college dotm, hotel or AirBnB stay, car, or any small space even the kitchen.

It's easy to use, but the portability and versatility are what made it a keeper for me. It's small enough to fit in a purse or packback, but expect to be able to cook a single egg, pancake, shrimp, brocoli, fried food, boil water, you name it. I really like this handy gadget. It hasn't replaced my need for an air fryer, but for my personal use, it's just what I need.

The possibilities of cooking with this thing are endless. I'm not a paid reviewer at all, so trust me, I'm passing on a great small kitchen appliance idea for single people who need a personal and portable cooking device. If you're homeless or have limited cooking resources, it will work wonders. The price I paid for it is unbelievable.

Kaitlyn: The media could not be loaded.  It is really small, look at the plastic cheese for scale. Boils water not super fast or anything, like 5 minutes or so if I had to guess. The only thing I didn't like as much was the length of the wire, it was like a foot long (~30cm). I'd much prefer a 3-foot long (~1m) wire for sure. Both the individual pan and the skillet itself have a non-stick coating and can be used to cook. Which is nice that I can still just use the bottom piece on its own.

Honestly she is beautiful. I bought this one for about $20 second-hand which is not something I usually do on Amazon but $30 difference compared to "new" and here we are. It came with a bit of scratch, definitely not new for sure but is functional and clean.
It helps when I'm in uni all day and can't get any sort of hot food without spending money. After a bit of that I'm starting to feel like I was running low on money. Then I thought to get one of those "electric hot pot" but those seemed to be too big for carrying around on campus all day. Amazon Customer: I bought this little cooker for a couple of reasons, primarily to cook an egg for my young granddaughter when she wants one and to cook simple ramen without having to get out and then clean a bigger pan. It seems to work well for both of these applications and many others. The specifics include:

- takes about 4-5 minutes to heat up in the "grill" mode and the blue indicator light will go out when it's at full temperature. The grill looks like it's non-stick, but it's not really. Just add a quick spray of cooking spray and it works great. You can make fried over eggs, sunnyside up eggs, or scrambled eggs easily. I suppose you can also make easy poached eggs with the pan mode, but I haven't tried that. The unit is too small to immerse a full egg to make hard boiled eggs.

- the pan only holds a bit more than one cup of water to cook the ramen in when the ramen is added, but that's fine for my tastes. It takes about 9-10 minutes to heat the water to boiling, but it develops a rapid boil from then on and cooks the ramen well.

Note that:
- there is no on-off switch, so you just plug it in to cook
- the cord is less than two feet long, so you'll need to be near...

Burke: Plugged it in for about 45 seconds and the outside became scalding hot - not warm, but stove top hot. Took 5 minutes to cool down enough to repack. This should be removed by amazon immediately.

Liem V.Liem V.: For about $10, this little skillet is a steal. It works great for making egg omelets or sunny-sides-up, heating up soup or making boiling water for instant noodle/ramen. Well, just use your imagination and the options are endless. I even tried to make bacons too, just cut up the pieces into a 1/3. A unique feature is that this is a two part skillet. The base and the little pan are usable, depending on your type of food. The base is shallow so I can’t really use it much but it heats up very quickly. The top pan takes sometime to heat up. I take this with me to work and received a lot of compliments for how convenient it is. Just make sure that user must handle with care as the product will become very hot to touch, even the plastic surface area. Since it is very light, I have to be extra careful to prevent spills and burns. There you have it, my quick little review ends here since the product is so little, I hope it will help you decide if is the right product for you.

hardwork: This is a fun little appliance that gets the job done. I bought this when I lost the electric circuit that my microave sits on. Until the electric company can come out and go up their pole to replace their equipment, I needed something electric to heat some small things in. This appliance fits the bill.

I use it to prepare Mac n Cheese cups, the kind that you add water to the fill line and put in your microwave for a period of time. Instead of the microwave, I put the contents into this little pan and heat it that way. Comes out perfectly. I also heat water, and have cooked Klondike Flap Jack cups in it, same way. It all works out great. I have heated chili in it, too.

This little appliance heats stuff rapidly, much quicker than the microwave. So far, I have no issues at all of getting the food out of the pan, and the cooking surface stays clean. Even if it appears that something is cooked on, it's not. Just fool with it a little, and the whole bottom will come out intact, at once, and you can eat that, too.

This appliance is small. It isn't going to cook a lot at once, but for spot meals, or tiny meals, it works. The one thing that I would caution on is the...
