MARILYN S BOYER: I wanted this for safety purposes, for women it's a good idea to be able to attract attention should someone approach you or grabs you etc. I bought it because i'm handicapped and have bad falls now and then. My husband does not hear well and laying injured on a cold bathroom floor is very uncomfortable and painful, this has happened a few times. Last fall I had to drag myself from my bedroom down the short hall to his and threw a jar at his door after screaming, yelling and trying to get his attention. I cannot get up on my own so need help. This time I was so exhausted I couldn't get up with what little help he can offer, he got my electric chair but I was too weak to haul myself up ended up calling 911 after caring for my injuries. I bought him hearing aids in May but not worn to sleep and sometimes he forgets to wear them, so the whistle is my best option.
