Crystal: For the money, these are not a bad buy. They don't look the highest quality, but they work just fine. At first, I thought they did not work, but come to find out, you just have to blow HARD. They make a great, loud sound. I bought them for my daughter to use when she has to down ref for volleyball. They work way better than the more expensive plastic one I bought at one of her tournaments.

Global Traveler: I own many whistles of all sizes. I needed to find one that is LOUD and small for traveling. My other ones are not small enough to be discreet while walking around, but these are.
I would recommend everybody purchase these for emergency situations. They are very loud and are priced very good.
But, since they are cheaply made they have rough metal edges and I wouldn't recommend holding them for constant use like during sports games. Just my opinion.

Charles Dominique: Received on time as promised. These are very loud, crisp and shiny. In comparison to a couple of my other whistles, my opinion is these appear to be of lesser quality than I had hoped for. For what I paid for them, I should put the comparisons aside and focus on how loud and crisp they are. Now that's the bottom line. They are indeed very loud and crisp. I guess that is first and foremost of what one would want in a whistle.
