LEE M.LEE M.: Third time is the charm. I purchased two other lefty holsters, one was too small and the other was not angled. This holster is perfectly angled and can even accommodate my Ridgid 1/2 in. High Torque Impact Wrench (See pics). Very sturdy, well made and looks great. I paired this holster with a Ace #3505 2in. web belt ($6) and Tough Built suspenders ($18). This is a great combination of strength and comfort and should last me a lifetime.
I can climb a ladder and bend over with confidence knowing my tool is securely mounted to my belt. The safety strap has velcro backing that keeps it out of the way when you don't need it, I fully extend it and tuck it behind my belt. My drill and 1/4 in. impact sit well enough that I never need the strap. I can wear my tools all day with NO hip and back pain. Those of you who are carrying around forever back pain from an old injury know how important this is. I am very happy with this set up and I think you will be too. This is my honest opinion, I did not receive anything for free. Thanks for reading my post, it's time to get to work!

Woodland Star: Bought this for my husband and he loved it. He was doing a lot of projects on a really tall ladder, and this allowed him to work hands free. Minimized the number of times he had to go up and down the ladder, allowed him to use both hands when climbing, and provided a spot to put his drill while working at the top. Bought a magnetic wrist strap to hold drill bits and screws too. The holster helped to hold pencils, long bits, etc. It did not come with the waist strap which has to be purchased separately, but he used his belt instead and that worked fine. He was very happy and definitely caught on to the quick draw concept. Wished I bought it sooner.

d kehler: I have purchased this drill holster 2 times now. The first one withstood almost 2 years of almost daily use. It was still serviceable when I retired it but the accessory pockets were just a little too loose to hold all of the items i put in them snuggly. Sometimes with my range of motion items would pop out of their place.
I fill up the bit holder pockets to the brim with a knife, pen, pencil, multiple bit drivers, drill bits, and nut drivers. It holds and balances a Milwaukee M12 with either the small or large battery nicely.
I have looked at many, many other drill holsters, but this is the only one I have found that has the features that I want. Specifically, the little elastic loops and storage areas for driver bits, etc have a closed bottom so the things you put in there can't just fall out the bottom!
I did wear out one driver bit pocket prematurely by hooking my tape measure into it. The sharp edge of the tape belt clip cut into the fabric and ruined the pocket quite quickly (over the course of a couple weeks). I don't consider this a flaw with the material or design of the product though.
Material quality is quite good. It took daily abuse (in an primarily...

TC: Using primarily with Milwuakee M12 series drills and drivers. I prefer the Wiha 4" power-drive bits in these, and that sometimes makes the easy slide-in difficult, b/c the tip usually catches somewhere along the interior. Maybe it's just me...I try to be efficient by knowing where everything is such that I could work in the dark if need be. I don't tend to look at my tool belt, but reach for what is supposed to be where. The only annoyance for me is the extra security strap. I don't need that at all, but I don't want to completely remove it, either (cuz one never knows when it may be handy). It interferes both with the return and the grab. There is a hook-and-loop portion that helps retain it, but a place to shove it completely out of the snag zone would be ideal (for me). I may consider a slight alteration to allow it to push into the belt-loop side rather than hang within the holster area. I use the right-hand version, though I'd take one of each at times, but still reach with the right hand, either across the front, or to the rear.

Saul: I bought this on a whim and I am very glad I did. I spend a lot of time on a ladder and was getting tired of leaving my drill on top of a ladder or shelf and needing it on the ground or the opposite then having to climb the ladder again to get it. Either that or I would take it with me and leave it in another room or something that was both frustrating and a time eater. Not anymore this holster is very sturdy and I can carry other bits, a knife, screwdrivers, and other accessories everywhere I go. It hangs close, too, so the weight load is directly on your hip which is where you want it since that's the strongest point on a body and I sometimes forget I have the drill in there until I look down. I don't use the strap while I'm working but I do when I am going to store it and it helps so the drill doesn't fall out as you are taking it off. So far I am very happy with it and with NoCry in general. It's a weird name for a brand but I'm less concerned with brand names than I am with quality and with it not being made in China. Other than when there is no choice (tv's for example) I only buy products made in the US, Mexico, or any European country when it comes to tools or work...

Mickey: This come in very handy for times when you cannot hold a drill. I think this is a great product. Much better than anything sold in stores to the best of my knowledge.
