CM: Over the years my husband has used this type of pouch for his Leatherman. He also carries other little items (pen, sharpie, wrench). He doesn't like most pouches because they are too big and bulky. This one is perfect. In fact he's ordered 2 of them. This newer version has a belt clip that rotates and the elastic sides are a plus. So far nothing has fallen out of the pouch and been lost. I don't know what model Leatherman he has but it fits nicely into the pouch and is easy to remove. He's very happy.

Jonathan Barnhart: I'm happy to have found something that my multitool will fit into, at the original pouch for our wore out.

Plus side:
The button enclosure isn't likely to wear out before the nylon. The belt clip isn't going anywhere once placed. The whole holster allows for some storage give for any sized item that you want to carry.

Room for improvement(?):
The clip isn't going anywhere once placed - and it nearly takes two hands to slip it onto your belt due to its design, and so far through my ownership it *does* take two hands to remove at the end of the day... Also, the sleeve between the main compartment and the belt clip is rather snug, so if you have a multitool with various bits that can be used, the bits will fit but will be very snug (and can't be removed to be swapped very easily).

All in all, I'm happy with the holster though I haven't had it very long. I hope its durability lasts - or, at fast it lasts at least as long for any newer model to come out (possibly with user friendly improvements.)

It fits different sizes of multi-tools, and holds them securely. Elastic keeps it snug.
It seems well made, and durable, the elastic is very well protected by sturdy fabric.
The belt loop/clip on Nite Ize products, in general, is much more durable over time than a fabric loop, this is no exception.
It closes with a snap, and opens with a single 'click' instead of the tearing sound of Velcro
You can attach small items with a clip (pen, AAA flashlight) to the elastic loops on the side, without interfering with the main compartment
The belt clip opens on the bottom so you can slip it on your belt without unbuckling it, yet holds securely, and won't come off in normal use.
There is a thin/narrow secondary compartment in the back of the main compartment, perfect for holding the thin Leatherman driver bits, or
extra saw/file blades if your tool features interchangeable ones (like my Surge or some Gerber models)

Dislikes:
The belt loop is on a swivel, which for my purposes is not necessary, and just adds extra bulk and causes the sheath to stick out a bit from my belt instead of staying tucked tightly against it.

Steven Sutton: I like this holster. I bought it for a Leatherman Wave, it works much better than the original holster. I like the elastic expanding design, it holds the Wave nicely. Also, the holster does have a split opening at the bottom, so you can put the Wave in while the pliers are open, with the nose of the pliers poking through the slit. You really have to squeeze the pliers down to get the flap closed this way, I usually just let them sit up higher and the flap hangs open.

I wish the flap had a velcro closure instead of the snap closure. With the Wave in the holster and the flap snapped shut, there is a half inch of empty space between the top of the tool and the top of the flap. If there was velcro with a long range of attachment, you could pull the flap down further and the holster would be more compact.

I like the clip, it holds securely, either on a belt, or a waistband of pants, or on the side pocket of a tool bag. The clip is a bit of a pain to put on and off though, you have to lift it open from the bottom side. It does get easier with practice. I wish that the clip was spring loaded and cantilevered, so you could squeeze it at the top to open it, but that's not...
