W805: By "broke," it still functions perfectly, but the thick plastic casing around the clamps had snapped off a corner. I decided it was important to me to have that intact because it's intended as an insulator. It's what prevents the two clamps from unintentionally touching and causing sparks, etc. Amazon is sending the exact item, no charge, as long as I drop this one off at Kohl's soon.

••• These are great products, I've owned 3 or 4. My first was the 1000A model, purchased in 2016, that I replaced with this 2500A beefier one. Concerned that I've moved from the Santa Barbara area to Omaha (work) where the cold winter has hit early, I noticed my car wasn't starting as easily. I ordered this product 'just in case', and sure enough it saved me right after being delivered. Having such large Ah/battery capacity (2500A) and a very small engine compared to what the Ah (battery capacity) is truly necessary for, it jumped me from a near dead battery in 30°F before I even had the chance to charge it. (It registered half charged). I wouldn't recommend that, but it's what I needed to do after being paged to the hospital.

Adventure64: Mit dem Booster ist man Unabhängig von anderen wenn die Autobatterie mal streikt. Einfach zu bedienen, bei Falschpolung kommt ein Warnsignal, Klemmen sind sehr robust ausgelegt, wie das Gerät auch und die eingebaute Lampe leuchtet den Motorraum super aus wenn es draußen mal nicht helle ist.
Funktioniert einwandfrei, klare Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn es etwas teuer ist

Arbytronix: Got this one because its little brother was an awesome performer. I wasn't disappointed. Only one fully dead battery start and a handful of just not quite enough juice starts on this guy and it did what it is supposed to do. The recharging is amazing quick when using a 65watt usb-c laptop power supply... Just under 2 hours from zero to hero!

Update 1:
After having it for a few days, I tested it on a few cars, everything went very well, tried charging my iPhone 3-4 times to full battery. But then I felt like the battery was worn out. After charging it twice, the battery was exhausted. I tested it over and over again a few times and plugged it in again, but Noco wouldn't charge and wouldn't power on anymore. I don't know why, I've never used Override mode. I then contacted Amazon customer service, and they accepted the return and refund. Then I bought another one. I hope this one doesn't have the same problems as the last one.

Gadget-Guy: Recently, I have invested (aka squandered) a bunch on a variate of different jump packs.
Some are quite elaborate (including air pumps + inverters)
Some more basic and simple to use.

I've noticed a trend.
They may be big.
They may be small.
They may be lite.
They may be heavy.... = They "all" will charge your cellphone.
May not start your car - but, you'll be able to call for the tow.

This one was extraordinarily expensive.
Yet, it also works as a flashlight + additional USB ports, etc.
It is pretty massive for such a tiny pack = ergo, it must have a more expensive battery (?)

It is also counter intuitive, that it charges off a phone charger, laptop - or, tablet..
One does not appreciate / anticipate / nor, in anyway assume - that a 1Amp USB port is gunna some how start one's car, requiring 100s of amps.
It boils down the sumthun called AmpHours, which is a unit of battery capacity.
Charging at 1, 2, 5 amps for 12, 24 - or 40 hours, one "can" store up a considerable amount of AmpHours.
On the output side, the ridiculous specs for maximum output current and cold cranking amps... are - how should we say - brief.

BB: I have a Toyota Sahara 200 series turbo diesel. I’ve needed to use this to jump start the Sahara a couple of times and it works a charm. It’s almost fool proof and starts the car very easily
One thing I’ve noticed other mention is the charging time. It doesn’t come with a wall charger. If you want to use a standard usb c charger it takes multiple hours (think over night) to get it charged again. You will either need to charge it as you drive - a converter for this came with mine or I bought a 100 watt wall charger which charges it in a much more reasonable time. Overall though very happy and would buy it again.

ObieObie: The media could not be loaded.  I'm an owner of an old Lexus GS350 2007, and over the years it's developed a parasitic power drain that threatens to completely drain my car's battery to the point where it's incapable of even flashing a small indicator light. It's the bad kind of dead, probably just a few step from permanently dead if I just neglect it a bit more.

I can't keep on troubling friends and family, nor can I ever count on a good samaritan there to help jump start my car. I've had bad experiences with Motormaster's car boosters before, so I was definitely gun shy with NOCO's Boost X GBX75.

I knew I needed something that can go above and beyond, my car battery is often going to be in that state, so I opted to go for the GBX75's 2500A model, it borderlines ridiculous.

The good news is that NOCO's Boost X GBX75 did the job, although I had to activate the override to provide the absurd amount of juice needed to revive my car, but sure enough it did the trick.

So why the 4 star instead of 5? That's because of the accessory that should have been included with the NOCO Boost X GBX75. Something of this price point should have also included the...
