J. Franklin: I ran my battery low by accident on my 2020 Chevy Impala. got the flickering lights. clicking, and what not where it wouldn't turn the starter motor. I'd meant to buy one of these GB40s for a while now, but due to the $100 price tag, I always found a reason to procrastinate. Well, my hand was finally forced, and I bought one.

Instructions were clear, though printed very, very tiny.
I charged it via USB wall charger I already had for my phone, and once fully charged, hooked it up as directed, got the white confirmation light that the battery has >2V and is thus detected, then pressed the ignition button on my car. VROOM!!! She lives again! I made sure to let my car run for about a hour and a half so the alternator could do its work recharging the battery.

The unit with bits and bobs in the included bag is smaller than a football, and is easily tucked into my roadside kit. There's some peace of mind that if I ever need a jump, I have 19 more attempts sitting in there. Do keep in mind the instructions tell you to wait 15 minutes if the first attempt fails, and 15 minutes between any following attempts. Luis Noguera: En un principio pensé que no funcionó para un sentra con batería completamente muerta, tonto de mi no leyó el instructivo, pero active el modo manual y le dio la energía suficiente para encender el carro, es un carro viejito pero pudo encenderlo, ya veremos como funciona cuando se quede sin bateria mi cherokee. Daz Edwards: So after using what was possibly a faulty OBD that coincidentally lowered the battery voltage within a few minutes of use on my 2016 Ford Mondeo 2.0l diesel to the point I had to get the AA out as my car wouldn't start.
The AA guy gave my battery a health check , checked the charging system of the car and said it was all working fine but the battery volts were too low at 10v to start the car. He connected a booster pack and the car started with a single push of the starter button.
He advised I drive the car for a good 40 minutes to charge the battery back up. Unfortunately, I didn't do that and although the car started fine the next day , I did do several short journeys and then didn't drive the car over the weekend.
Went to go to work this morning and "click", the car wouldn't start with the battery light on the dash lighting up.
Luckily, I had purchased this booster on Friday night from Amazon, it came Saturday, I charged it via one of the usb ports on our kitchen sockets until fully charged, about 3 hours.
