Connect the red clamp first, then the black one. Once your engine starts, remove the black clamp first, then the red clamp. Your can store this product in your trunk, or under the passenger seat. I prefer storing it in my trunk - better for safety reasons.

Brad Campbell: If you could afford a new car or a good quality and used car you got more than enough money to buy this product keep it charged keep it with you it could be good to save your teenagers if they run the battery down. Save your neighbor coworker whatever it's worth having buy one I highly recommend it.

B.A. Ray: This jump box works great! Battery life is decent as long as you don't use regularly, commercially.
Super easy to use. Just place the leads in their proper spots. Built in volt meter, battery recharges while the vehicle is running. Easily can be plugged in the wall or a power inverter.
Caution! Make sure you put the leads back on the plastic handles where they belong. There's no off switch for this specific box. That means there's always power flowing to the leads. It's a non issue as long as you use it correctly. If the positive and negative touch each other, you'll have a light show and will more and likely damage the box.

Yuanyuan: The booster comes with no AC power extension cord!!!! So I can not charge my booster right away in my home. And it does come with a power cord, which I have to connect to my vehicle lighter Port. That’s really ridiculous, cause I have to keep my vehicle running in order to charge the booster!!!!!So I will have to order the cord , every one needs that, and it’s a must! The seller can sell a higher price, and I have no issue about that, now I can’t use it for several days, and that’s the problem

James Mayhew: I decided to purchase this JNC660 due to a truck issue. Apparently, my truck is currently suffering from what is called a "parasitic battery drain". This isn't a common every day occurence but when it does happen I'm left with a battery that won't crank over the starter motor. I read many reviews for this product and couldn't find any negative reviews so I went ahead and bought one. When it comes to needing several hundred cranking amps I trust a lead acid battery over a lithium ion battery.

NemoNemo: Review Update:
I decided to bump this device up to four-stars. Upon even further very closely reading the instructions, the device is in fact charged when the Green "CHARGED" light goes on. The instructions explicitly state that you can leave the jump-starter plugged in and it appears that the DC power gauge won't ever reach the far right of the dial because it's not supposed to. It's a power meter, not a meter that lets you know how "full" it is like a gas tank meter. In other words, the needle at the 3/4 mark means it has that much electrical power--which is in fact its max possible storable voltage. This is also why they advise charging it after each use because stored power will eventually dissipate. The only added bit of confusion was when charging it via the provided 12 volt cigarette adaptor. They advise NOT leaving it charging once it's "full", which, from an empty state would take about 5 hours. I chose to not give this product five-star because of the instructions were just not as clear as they could be (there's no diagram, etc.)
