Candy: If your light has a separate plug for the switch you can easily put this device in between the cords you just plug it in on each end. It works really well, as long as the light isn’t a touch light. I needed this so I didn’t have to keep turning the lights off and on. It does it all for you! Saved me from harm to buy a whole new light.

Nicrew reached out after posting my review and the timers are covered under a 12 month warranty. They are refunding the cost of both timers. A company that stands by its products is pretty freaking awesome! I’ve updated my rating due to the exceptional customer service and product warranty.

Original review: Bought two of these in Sept. 2022. One stopped working June 2023 and the other failed a month later. So it’s about a dollar a month to have a great timer. Lol.

Amazon Customer: I bought this timer + dimmer for my Aqueon LED 10 gallon aquarium based on previous reviews. So far this has been a great purchase! Even though you can't set an exact time, it's great that there are 8-hour, 10-hour and 12-hour options - and once set, it comes on at the same time every day (until you change it). The LED lights are built into the hood of my aquarium, so I didn't expect the dimmer function to work. What a pleasant surprise! I can control the brightness, and the lights gradually brighten and dim (as the light goes on and off for the day). So far, a great purchase for my money.
