I love the cell phone case. It's sturdy, but flexible. I really like it alot. I would recommend this this to anyone. It's made well.: The book was packaged and delivered in great condition. The book was well kept like new condition. It was published in the early 2000's, but it is a great read being a thriller and romance. I recommend the seller of this book.

DonnaMarie: I didn’t like this book. I didn’t like it from the beginning then of course things picked up and I could only hope for the best. As my own Great Dane Liberty sits at my feet while I read. And then there’s the end.

Jules: This is the fourth Nicholas Sparks book I have read and I loved it as with all the others and cried at the end, as with all the others! However, the ending got me thinking, was Singer meant to be Jim's spirit somehow living on?! At the beginning of the book in the letter that Jim writes to Julie, he said he bought her a dog. The dog is only a puppy and was probably born around the time Jim died. It was mentioned a few times how Singer was almost un-dog like and how Julie talked to him like he was a human. At the end it mentions her dream and how when Jim and singer walk off, their two images become one. Then there is the letter that she re-reads, tucked in the back of the picture of Singer where Jim says he will be her guardian angel and she can count on him to keep her safe. Julie then thinks, "yes, you did". It was a satisfying read but I'm not sure if with the ending, Sparks intended for the reader to think that Jim lived on through Singer, if this is what Julie thought or if I'm reading too much into it :).

Heather B: I'm glad that I read Nicholas Sparks' afterword once I'd finished reading The Guardian. In it he explained that he wanted to write a book that was primarily a romance, but also had a strong thriller element. I think that he mainly achieved his goal. However, in my opinion, the first half of the book felt like a romance and the second half like a thriller.

I've read most of Mr Sparks' books, and I would say that although he's written villains before, the villain in The Guardian is the most sinister and disturbed of them all. I liked Julie and Mike, and the romance between them was sweet. There was also a good cast of supporting characters, including Singer, the dog.

The Guardian is a well-written book, but I wouldn't number it among my favourite Nicholas Sparks' novels.

Amazon Customer: I have never been much of a Nicholas Sparks fan in regards to his films. I feel that they always seem to lack that je ne sais quoi. However, once I knew that Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough were going to be starring in his new film Safe Haven I knew I would be going to see it in the cinema and simply had to read the book first. It was the first book I had ever read by Nicholas Sparks. It was wonderful and I couldn't put it down and the film was just as romantic as the book. After that I decided to give another one of his books a chance and picked The Guardian. When it arrived it lay around my house for a few days and I finally decided to start reading it yesterday. Well I finished reading it today and what can I say? It was addictive. The story was romantic yet terrifying at the same time. I had to simply keep turning the pages to see what would happen in the end. And what an ending it turned out to be. I couldn't stop crying happy and sad tears. A real tear jerker at the end but at the heart of it this book is a wonderful thriller. I wouldn't call myself a Nicholas Sparks fan just yet but I will be going on to Amazon tonight to choose and buy another one of his books so I can...
