UpwrdMblty: Bought this as back up supply for our gas powered golf cart that had this tendency to go dead. Fits nicely in the glove box. I had installed new navigation systems in my jeep and thought I had turned them off. Didn't have correct options set and the main battery. I went out to go pick up dinner and my jeep was dead. I put my electric charger starter unit and even after ten minutes it still wouldn't turn at all. Next I remembered having bought this thing to jump the golf cart and I hooked it up and reach in through window and turned key it started immediately. I removed the cables and closed the hood and went on down the road. Our dinner was hot when I got back and that was a double winner!

Peter F.: This jump starter works very well and is easy to use. It stores conveniently and holds a charge way longer than a similar product I owned before this that was much bulkier, heavier, and less reliable. Don't bother messing with old-fashioned jumper cables. If you have a car, you need to carry one of these in your trunk and also a small portable air compressor for your tires. And practice using them so you'll be ready when needed.

Make sure you check this jump box every few weeks to see if the charge is holding. Mine keeps its charge for months and still shows 4 solid lights indicating a full charge, but I top off the charge now and again anyway just to be sure. I have used this many times when my car battery was failing before I finally got around to buying a new battery. Starts the car right up every time. Just follow the simple directions.

JK.: This has been a life-saver. There have been three times where coworkers or friends have needed a jump and this portable battery pack has come to their rescue.
Super simply operation and a small case that fits perfectly in the trunk compartment. Charge up is a little slow but that hasnt been an issue.
Since this is a l-ion battery, charge it up ever month to keep the battery healthy and to guarantee you have proper charge. L-ion batteries discharge over time, it's good practice to perform monthly charging to ensure this powerpack is ready for you when you need it.
One of my top purchases in recent memory and is worth the price!

Today I used the NEXPOW and it started on the second time I turned it over. I can just keep it in the pickup and never worry. It comes in a well designed carrying case. It is easy to use, solidly constructed, and has additional features to charge a phone or use the flashlight!

Scott: I got two of these units. One for myself and shortly after, one for my Dad. They are amazing little jumpers and very powerful however, there are two things I have/ had an issue with.

One, involving both units, the time you have from the time you hook it up to the time you have to turn the key before it goes into safety or whatever its doing is insanely short, like under 3 seconds. So, if you are under your hood, likely you will struggle to get to the key before it shuts off. I have a message into the seller about this as I hoped it was just one of the boxes, but both do it. You then have to unplug the harness out of the box and plug it back in to reset it. Its very annoying. So its 5 stars when you can do it by yourself, 2 when you cant and need to find help!

The second issue I had was charging. I was jumping a friends 4 cyl. inboard boat and the charger got really hot and died on us, and rather quickly. We jumped it 5 or 6 times within 10 minutes, starting with a fully charged box from the night before. Two days later I still could not get the charger to charge. Only the first light would flash out of the 4 and it would never get to the 2nd light showing its in the...
