NETVUE Pet Monitoring Camera - Keep an Eye on Your Furry Friend from Anywhere

vicki: This is my third purchase of Netvue cameras. I keep upgrading while finding other ways to use my old cameras. This one I purchased for my small retail store. It was easy to set up and add to the app along with my two previous cameras. I really like the picture quality for daytime. Night time it does the job well but not as clear due to it being dark. The only issue I have is that I cannot get the camera to pan down any further than came from factory. That meant finding the right height level to place it. I can live with that as bring only issue but only gave 4 stars because of. I would recommend this camera for security use in home or any other indoor location.

Gabriella Suarez: Personally I use this when leaving my dog alone for a few hours and I monitor him through the app. Have not had an issues and would recommend! It provides a wide range camera which is nice because I can see the whole room. You do have to play around with the position because it the camera moves best side to side and not much up and down. The app is easy to use all you need to do is connect it to wifi. I do not recommend leaving it where the dog can see it because it can be mistaken as a toy so leaving it on a countertop or table works best. I have not used it at night time so I cannot comment on the night vision. I have not set up motion detection and it has a decent picture quality. Another feature that it has is being able to speak through the app to talk to your pet, I have not used this because I think that it would freak my dog out if he starts hearing me out of no where, but a good feature to have just in case.

mom_of_4_crazy_dogsmom_of_4_crazy_dogs: I have a 14 year old dog who has been getting noticeably more anxious in his older age.. He is now refusing to go in his kennel anymore when I leave for work during the day. I wanted to try leaving him out during the day, but also wanted the option to be able to check in on him throughout the day.

This product has given me so much piece of mind, and has reduced my anxiety knowing that he is doing just fine being left alone! I keep my settings on night vision all the time, as that visual works best for me. The other nice features are being able to use the intercom button to communicate, and being able to move the camera side-to-side, and up & down, as well as being able to zoom in/out using the phone app!

This camera worked out so good, I ended up getting a second one to put down in the family room where my other three dogs are kennelled during the day.

CS in Phoenix, AZ.CS in Phoenix, AZ.: The price is what initially struck me. I got a great deal during one of the holiday sales. But it was the features, functionality and video quality that kept me going. I initially bought this camera to keep an eye on the inside of my home. So the 360 and 100-degree views are perfect for that. The video quality is great and even more so when you turn your phone to landscape mode and get an even better picture. The built-in infrared night vision works great too. I also like the 2-way audio. You can hear as expected but whomever you are watching can also hear you. One of the more advanced features I was surprised by was human detection and motion zones with customizing. You can break it up into 12 different zones and only alert on those selected. So after trying this little guy in a few different places as well as just having a newborn baby, I decided to use it as a baby cam for now. So far, so good. I just have it sitting in the crib on the opposite side of the bed and the picture is amazing. I can see and hear every little move she makes. I was desperately looking for a baby monitor, I did not read the fine print on this. This is not a baby monitor. It's more of a security camera that has to be used with a mobile device. So you can forget about using your phone while trying to use this to monitor baby. can't play music from my phone or anything, if I want to see what baby is doing. The talk feature is not good. People can't really understand what I'm trying to say. Picture quality and live feed is good but that's about it. I would have much rather spend that money on an actual baby monitor.
HOWEVER, after posting my review the seller was kind enough to give me a refund so I'll give them credit for that since they were very nice an reached out to me. This review previously had 1 star.

This monitor is not good as a baby monitor. At least for me. HOWEVER, my dog started getting seizures and we had to start monitoring her and the frequency of her seizures.
