Amazon Shopper: I bought this kit over a year ago and due to too many projects being in front of the installation I finally got round to it today. this is really easy to install, came with all the tape, cutter etc.
However, I discovered that I didn't have QUITE enough material to complete the task at hand, so I emailed the seller and even though it had been a full year since I bought the kit, he happily sent me some extra insulation to finish my job FREE OF CHARGE.
In a world where customer service seems to have gone the way of the dodo this was a refreshing example of going above and beyond and I was extremely grateful. I look forward to getting the install finished and testing it through the winter and Texas summer in 24.

Andrew CastnerAndrew Castner: I purchased this based on reviews online as best performing for price. I ordered the length that would fit my garage door and waited for my delivery. It arrived on schedule and I got to work. I cleaned the surfaces, put on the tape, took the peel off and let it get tacky while I got the rolls ready.
I then realized that I didn’t have enough material. My garage door is very old and wooden. It has five panel rows, not four. Now I will say, it’s not easy to figure out if you’re ordering the correct product for four panel vs five panels. So I did what the instructions said and emailed the manufacturer.
I received an answer extremely quick! I explained my dilemma and they sent me an extra roll at no cost to make sure I could finish my project!
Once I put on the pieces and sliced them to fit I started to worry about the tape. I wasn’t confident from the get go about the tape. I followed the instructions precisely, but when I came out to check the door the next morning I sadly found that the insulation was peeled off in multiple places.

Installed properly, foil side out, insulation flush on back of garage door panels with door hardware fastened through insulation. I achieved 12 deg F temperature reduction on the surface of the door, but a dramatic reduction in radiant heat in the garage. I was able to workout in my garage throughout the entire summer.
Double sided tape is holding up nicely, 14 months later. I expect to have to come back with some backing strips and small screws to hold up long term but have had zero issues so far.
I like the product, I love the company and customer support. I have shared this with my father in law and we will be installing on his garage soon!
