Will OWill O: Not really sure why so many reviews complain about how difficult these are to install. I did it without help in about 30 minutes--but I removed my bottom tracks from the door and more importantly, I used a set pin to open back up the crimped end of the track. After that, I laid out the new seal on the floor, unrolled and straight away from the track, so it could slide easily as I gently pulled both sides into the grooves. Didn't really need any lubricants and when it was installed, I trimmed the ends and used a large pair of nippers to slightly crimp the ends back on one track to hold it in place.
I did note that the original piece had a bit more "heft" to it, so this new one may not hold up for 20+ years-- but at $1 a foot, I can afford to replace it again if need be.
Bottom line-- good product for a good price

Amazon customer: Easy to install for one person, took me under half hour. They give you couple extra inches on each end. I used screwdriver to pry apart clamps holding the old one, slid in the new one and used pliers to gently tighten to hold in new one. Four stars instead of five because rubber could be thicker but it works. I expect it will last 5yrs at least keeping bugs, cold and heat out of my garage.

Alexei: This seal doesn't appear to be OEM and is noticeably thinner than the old seal was. It still seems good and slid in easily but would sometimes pop out of the channels during the install due to it being thinner. Now that it's in place all seems to be well. We'll see how long it lasts!

R M: Liked the product but installation was quite a chore requiring 3 people after the bottom track was removed from door .
But maybe no other way to do unless there was some lube available that would be rubber safe , to make it slide easier into the track ( we used soapy dish water to soak the rubber first ) But it fit fine after install .

MadPB: I have a pair of 9' Wayne Dalton doors that needed new weatherstripping / seals, and after researching to make sure I got the right type for the built-in track, I picked this up.
In my case, since I have two 9' doors that both needed replacing, I got the 18' roll which was plenty to do both doors. I think I ended up cutting off about 3 inches total, but I also left another couple inches on either side of each door to make sure there would be enough if it shrank after installing. So there was probably an extra foot, give or take.
Installation was pretty easy, but it's definitely a two-person job. I started by removing the old seal by cutting down the length with a sharp blade, then just pulling it out from one end. Once you get it going, it pulls out fairly easy. Then I used a good hard-bristle brush (like the kind you might have to scrub dishes, but definitely don't use the *same* one) to clean out the track of any debris. I used soapy water for that to give the track a good wash and also to lube it up.
I put the new seal in a bucket of soapy water. Just cold tap water, but I guess I could have used hot water, although I don't think it would have made much...

Kevin Brookes: This weather seal was a perfect replacement. Just sprayed some WD40 into the channel’s for lubrication and two of us were easily able to slip it into position. Trimmed off a couple of inches and we were done.

Valerie: 5 stars! BIG THANK YOU to seller! Saved my butt! I tore off my old seal assuming it was standard profile but it was NOT. Ordered the correct (bead) style and had it installed 2 days later. No local stores sold this style. Used a lot of lube but I got it done by myself.
