Wakk047Wakk047: I expected something a little different... the "brass" and brown appearance on these tools is a painted surface. For the price, they look good, and they'll work just fine for light use, however if you plan on using these a lot, I wouldn't expect them to hold up their appearance for long

Amanda: I could probably bend the metal if I wanted to , feels like soft cheap metal , surprisingly hasn’t melted from coals while in use . I gave it a 4 tho cus they’re like only 2 other designs for these fireplace tools . Boring! So feels cheap compared to others but does the job while looking good

AmberHaleAmberHale: Overall I’m very pleased with this fireplace tool set. It matches the gorgeous gold fireplace screen perfectly that I bought from the same company. I had a hard time finding a set of tools that were not bulky or had much style unless you were paying big bucks. These are barely even noticeable on the fireplace leaving the main focal point to the fireplace and gold screen. The tools are lighter weight and I have not use them yet to tend to fire so once I do if there’s anything to note, I will update my review. The only thing I thought was strange was the handles are just painted brown. They do give a look of a leather handle, but it’s definitely just paint. I thought that was an odd choice in design. The stand was very easy to put together. I’m very happy with this set!
