Amy L. PhillipsAmy L. Phillips: This product shipped very fast and I was very excited to see that I had half of a pair of nunchucks. Just kidding, sort of, but it does look cool and yes we played around with them like ninjas because I did purchase two. One for my mom and dad and one for myself. They are super sturdy, and hold up under vigorous use. It's minorly inconvenient to have to un-screw it to use, but it would in no way detract from my decision to buy this again if I ever had need. I just leave mine on the counter above my little freezer and just never cap it. The amount I spent was well worth it for the product I received and I really like the proportions. The handle is perfect and the pick is a great length. As mentioned above I would buy again and probably not even look at other options in the future.

LJA: I needed an ice pick and was drawn to this one because of the wooden cover. It's very attractive - and - no more stab wounds when I stick my hand in the kitchen drawer looking for something. I've only used it a few times but it seems surprisingly sturdy so I have high hopes it will last a long time. And you can't beat this price, either. Highly recommend!

ET: I looked everywhere for a ice pick but none of the stores that use to sell them...don't sell them anymore. I'm glad I checked on Amazon because this one is far better than the one I was looking for. I love that I now have one to break up my bags of ice. It's easy to clean and I love that it has a top piece to cover the pick when it's not in use.
