chan: I was a little afraid that it might be to short, but that did not prove to be a problem. It really made cleaning up the fireplace easier, and the ashes do not seem to stick to the brush. It is well made, and was a very good addition to my fireplace tool set. If you need a new brush, this is a good purchase.

William J. Morrow: Had a cover installed over hearth so didn’t want dirty fireplace tools sitting on it. This broom is sturdy and short enough to hang from the mantel support on a hook. Just what I was looking for.
