A. Kanter: I like a poker made of one single piece of metal; handles that screw on/off can loosen at exactly the wrong time when you're stoking a fire. So this poker works great. I like the length for my wood burning stove. I use a longer poker for a big fireplace or for outdoor burns, but this is great for the wood stove.
