Rob: Serves its purpose. The paint job is solid in and out, overall material build is good, too. I've gotten about five of these cans now (in .50 and .30 cal), and there are minor QA issues between them. Overall, though, I recommend these for bulk ammo storage.

SilverwingsSilverwings: It's a black ammo can, .30 Cal., but it fits 5.56mm just fine, which is what I wanted it for. It's metal, so it's stronger than those the weak plastic ones. It's got the gasket so it's waterproof. I highly recommend it.

Moopiusvul: The box is sturdy and seals tight. Looks great. A bit smaller than I envisioned. We throw a few boxes of ammo inside with some clips and take it to the range. That is all that fits, but easy to carry. I see no way to lock it without modding the case. Great for our needs and the price is right.

For 9mm, 50 round boxes fit and stack well, you can fit about 15 boxes in one case.
For 5.56, the 20 round boxes fit awkwardly and I didn’t have enough to test out full capacity, but I think you could probably fit 40 - 50 boxes in the can.
