Sheldon: Book arrived when expected. Good quality book. It was difficult to find this book because it is so popular.

swl100a: I have been looking forward to this sequel for almost a year and it certainly didn't disappoint. Thank you Ben Hatke for your gift to the world.
I recommend reading them in order though.

Jeremy A. Lott: Let's get the one drawback out of the way: Mighty Jack and Zita the Spacegirl is not a good jumping-on book. Three Zita and two Jack books precede it. I don't know if more are coming but I doubt it. This reads like the perfect ending to both series. I love the art, the characters, the sprawling story. My best guess is, other folks who take the time to read these series will love this book too.

Karissa Eckert: This is the fourth book in the Zita the Spacegirl series and the third book in the Mighty Jack series. This was an amazingly fun read just like all the previous books in this series. I love these characters, this story, and the illustration style. This looks like it will be the last book in this series, but I hold out hope that we may see more adventures with these characters!
In this book Zita and Jack come together to battle an army of giants and screeds alike. It will take all of both teams’ abilities to save the Earth from this biggest threat yet.
The illustration is bright and colorful and the story is fast-paced and engaging. There’s a lot of humor in here as well as a lot of action. I love the themes around friendship as well.
Overall this is a great series for kids and adults alike. It's been one of my absolute favorite graphic novel series. I would recommend to fans of graphic novel series or to those looking for a good graphic novel series to read with their kids. The Mighty Jack series has also featured an autistic main character (Jack’s sister) and this is a good addition to the series.

dadthemad: This is a masterpiece from a genius of a storyteller and gifted artist. Somehow Ben Hatke has succeeded in crafting a story that threads together robots, giants, goblins, humans, and dragons alike, across many worlds and everything in-between.
In some ways my daughter and I read this as a love letter to Ben Hatke's fans, to the world of Zita and Jack, and even, I would say, to the grand adventure of life itself. At bottom this is an adventure story with heroes and villains, trials and tribulations, and joys and aches. But it's also an examination of what it's like to pursue a life of virtue and how we ought to live, as well as, perhaps, a clarion call for solidarity.
I hope I'm wrong, but I also sense this work is a farewell to Zita and Jack.

DarkUnity: Morning,
Since I came across Ben Hatke's series of Mighty Jack and Zita the Space Girl, I have loved both series and have all the books on my Kindle Paperwhite Gen 2. When I saw they were doing a crossover novel, I immediately pre-ordered it a few months back, and waited till Sept 3rd. The day came I was ready to sit down on my sun deck and read the book, but sadly I couldn't. It seems that the book I bought, was not compatible with my Paperwrite, and would not open up. I never considered this an issues, since I have all the novels with both series on my Kindle and they work fine. I ended up reading the book on my iPhone via Kindle app, but it wasn't the same, significantly dampening the experience. All in all, the book was fantastic, but not being in a format I could enjoy on my Kindle sadly dropped the score down for me.
Please be aware, you haven't lost a reader Ben, but I will be cautious now buying your work in Kindle form.
Thank you and have a good day.

Barefoot_Daydreams: I pre-ordered the book months ago after both my kids (8 and 10) devoured the Zita and the Spacegirl series while on vacation last summer (giving us so much-need quiet when it was needed!). They enjoyed the Mighty Jack series as well and were excited (though impatient!) to see that a new book was coming that would combine them. They were both super-excited when it arrived and have read it at least five times each already. One of them is even taking it to school to pass around to his friends who are also enjoying it. So there you have it. The 8-year-old says "Best book ever! Best book of both series!" and the 10-year-old says "It's Ben Hatke's best book!"
