When I have the need to read a calming story I choose Melanie's books. I always feel a warm feeling by my heart reading her stories 🤩😍📖.

Lottie is a young hard working women, whos main point is to please her parents. She lost her brother when she was a child and this loss created a gap between Lottie and her parents. She feel lost until one day on her way home she hear a beautiful singing voice.

Logan knows what it means to lost everything, he lost his hard-working-for-corporation father too young and had to learn how to survive. He was able to finish school and find a job as a teacher but loved to sing and write songs and live a simple but fullmeaning life. One look in the beautiful eyes but full of pain makes him sing everyday for her in sthe subway station. Just to make her feel better and relaxed.

One day he decided to aproach her when she fall asleep from exhaustion on the station bench. From this moment they start to spend time together, despite of how different their two worlds are. But they have a great chemistry and feelings that develop very fast. Logan tries to show...

Lynn McShane-Stewart: This story and the characters pulled me in from the very start. Logan is hot, kind, giving and talented. Lottie is beautiful, smart, sweet and sad. She is lonely and unhappy and as soon as Logan sees her he sees exactly who she is. They see each other every day, but don’t talk. His music is the only thing that gives her peace. He recognizes her pain as he has had his own. They seem like an unlikely couple. She comes from a we to do family and has an executive position at her father’s company. She thinks he is a street musician, but he is also a teacher. When they are together everything makes sense. Lottie’s family life is complicated and gets in their way, but their love is strong enough to survive. A lot of books end when the couples overcome their obstacles, but this one lets us see their life after I’m detail which I loved. This book definitely left me feeling warm hearted. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lady Reading: When I first started reading, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the H, he almost seemed too nice and accommodating. (I do have a thing for alpha, commanding males.) But have to admit this H came to the table when it counted! The more the story went on the more he grew on me. In the end, he was perfection!

The h was very likeable, a strong, intelligent woman, but stuck in a life trying to be something she never would to her parents, trying to make up for the son and brother they all lost. Her parents didn't handle grief well and retreated to their own worlds ultimately neglecting the daughter they still had. As an adult, it's left her in an untenable situation being overworked and overstressed in a job she hates and never really wanted.

The h and H meet in a unique manner and I have to say a very believable one. (Believable to me because I'm that girl/woman who always stops and listens to street musicians and if they're really good I have to speak to them and let them know how much I appreciate their music. The effect of the H's music on the H reminds me of a poem written on a wall at one of my favorite restaurants...it has a musical theme. I don't know who wrote...

Kindle Customer: Not one for regular romance, or is it contemporary? This was well thought out; the plot was terrific. It flowed with such clarity, almost like magic. Bright and enchanting, The character Logan became my Ideal choice for a mate .His words, opinions the respect he gave you his woman one which was returned. He is so vibrant so full of life , know who he is, where he is coming from and where he is headed.congident , sexy, intelligent and strong. Lottie was like a charm so sweet, with hidden strength that kept her going for years. She deserved to be loved and she got it. Her acceptance of her love,the way she stood up for him , cherished him and fought for her man was. Downright inspirational, she never ask him to change who he is and that respect right there took my breath away. Thank you for a great read the plot was great ,the characters magnificent, the intimate moments , intriguing. The entire book was like a gift.

Pamela Waddell: This story is perfect.
So much emotion in this story, I'm still buzzing. Miss Moreland has a way of making you feel right along with her characters.
Logan and Lottie are made for each other. They both suffered loss in their life, but have taken a different approach to moving on with their life.
Logan is very much the alpha male hero but not in the typical guise. He is softly spoken, living his life his way. There is no high power job or suit. He's been through so much but has come back stronger with the life he wants.
Lottie is a strong heroine, but her life is dominated by obligation and guilt over something she had no control over. She is struggling with a life she never wanted. Trying to atone when she done nothing to atone for.
From their first meeting in the subway their relationship is intense, passionate and fast moving. Giving them both what they have longed for, a family and a sense of belonging.
