MEGAWISE Pro Ceramic Ionic Hair Straightening Brush - Perfect for Professional-Level Styling at Home

Gabriel: My old hair routine was flat ironing, followed by passing a hair straightening brush through my hair to smooth out fly-aways and left-over frizz. The megawise gets so hot and passes so smoothly through my hair I don't need to use the flat iron anymore.

The temperature control could be better. I feel like even the lower temps are much hotter than the advertised 350. I don't mind the temperature locking feature personally.

The digital controls only half-work. You can set the temperature, and it will lock. But like a lot of other customers of this product, the flat iron DOES NOT turn off by holding down the power button. It has to be unplugged every time. As long as this doesn't break the flat iron I don't care that much, but it loses a star for not functioning as advertised.

Looking at other reviews it seems this brand of product has a problem with quality control. But mine performers better than expected in the straightening department so I'll be keeping mine. Will update this review if there's any issues down the line.

Juney: I have very fine and thin hair with just enough curl it frizzes with moisture and a little wind. SO finding a tool that adjusts temperature well and is easy to use (I am older woman) is a huge deal. This brush is very nicely made, not too heavy and offers a large choice of settings. The brush really does smooth your hair nicely. I do not use it to totally dry my hair so I start at about 90% dry. Results have been good. I am still a novice but so far so good.

johanne dumas: J,ai les cheveux long. épais et je frise, alors je les lave les fait sécher, et avec cette brosse cela facilite d'utilisation du fer à lisser, pour moi utiliser que la brosse à lisser ne me donne pas les résultats souhaités, par contre si vous avez les cheveux qui ne frisent pas cela peut vous convenir, la brosse est quand même assez large un peu difficile d,aller à la racine pour lisser,

It worked like a charm! The straightener glided through her hair effortlessly and did the job super quickly. It only took about 20 minutes to straighten her whole head. She was head over heels in love with the results. And I was pretty impressed too. The brush is really well-made, and those teeth? They're sturdy as heck. No worries about accidentally burning my daughter eithrr, thanks to those teeth keeping the heat from her head. Oh, and did I mention the LCD screen and lock feature? So fancy! Overall, I think this straightener is perfect for beginners like me and it has my seal of approval!

I love using it the first time after my hair is dry but also on other days, just to calm the frizz. This product is perfect. I’ve never had anything that works so well and so fast on my hair. Brushing from underneath with the bristles up works best for me! . A+++++

Toni: My 11 year old daughter likes her hair straightened. She asked for a straighter but I didn't think she was quite ready to do it on her own. I got this so she could do it by herself. She loves it. She has long, thick hair and it works great. She won't burn herself or her hair off. I have used it a couple of times and like it as well. Doesn't do as good as a straighter but perfect for her age.

Shawn HalvorsonShawn Halvorson: DO NOT USE ON WET HAIR!!!!!!! The 2nd pic is two days after we put a straight perm in. For whatever reason the perm didn't take but even if I take her back all they would be able to do is put more chemicals in her hair, and I don't want that. This brush heats up fast, it's comfortable in your hand, doesn't burn your scalp, my only complaint is that if you don't lock the temperature, my fingers hit the buttons but other than that I love it. It feels like it was made well. I love that it's temp controlled. And my daughter doesn't worry about me accidentally burning her with the straight iron. Hopefully she will be able to use this herself in time.

Good with Details: Best hair appliance I have bought in years.... I have very thick & fine hair & I color it regularly so I am constantly deep conditioning it to keep it healthy. Despite variable heat settings on other appliances, they have given my hair a dry and "straw like" look but not this one! My hair is sleek, silky & not frizzy with this product. I also REALLY love the fact that the bristles are long and flat so they get deep into my hair, especially at the scalp, without me having to pull out sections & wrestle with getting the brush to go through to straighten the few random waves that I have naturally. I can style my hair in a fraction of the time that I used to with my old appliance that I totally wore out....I wish I had bought this years ago! I am 57 years old & a lot of my natural curl & "wash & wear" days are long gone so I have to put more effort into styling my hair to suit my own personal standards. This appliance makes my life easier & I highly recommend it. It is also easy to clean & take care of so I am hoping it will last a long time. I also think the price is very fair given the quality of the product.
