Jeremy Agran: Ok, I don't write reviews almost ever. Maybe I should more.. But with this, I had to give it it's due respect. I have a 2007 dodge ram that for some reason no one can find, draws power while it's off, so that even new batteries die in like a week if I don't drive it (my main is a 2020 dodge charger scat pack. I don't use the truck much, especially these days). But anyway, I suffer from mitochondrial disease. I'm exhausted 24/7. Even small tasks can be overwhelming for me. So sometimes it can take weeks before I have the strength or impulse enough to jump charge the truck if I let it go too many days. It's just one more thing on my plate. But on black Friday yesterday, I saw an ad for a different charger, and I thought hmmm, do these work? This would be great if it worked! Anything that makes any task easier for me is so deeply appreciated. Anyway, I didn't trust the reviews on the other one so started looking at others. I was comparing battery, output, features and price. This unit here has the best of them all. And on black Friday for just 50 bucks! And that deal is still active currently as a cyber Monday deal. If you're in the market for one, get it. Don't hesitate.

rickatplayrickatplay: The first thing that impressed me with this product is the really nice case it comes with. It’s a semi rigid clamshell with compartments for the jumper cables and for the unit itself and the charging cable. This keeps everything very organized and easy to store and easy to get to when I need it. My wife wanted one of these for a long time but I know that if it’s not very organized and easy to use she would not use it, but after I bought this one I was so impressed that I got her one as well. I’ve actually only use it to jumpstart one car because I am not a mechanic with lots of dead cars, but it worked great. My son’s Ford Taurus had a very low battery and it jumpstarted it right away, no problem. I like that you can use the unit as a battery back up to charge your phone or even to run 12VDC devices up to 10 amps through a barrel connector. You cannot run lights, etc through the jumper cables because that connection is for jumpstarts only. I’ve used the barrel connector it to test out lights before I’ve installed them for off-road applications on my jeep and for small motors. Works great. L-KnightL-Knight: I've had a couple of other jump chargers, and one situation so far where I needed them. I had to jump my car and tried the Anker one I had, and it didn't work. It just kept giving me an error. I tried the second one I had, and that worked. This unit looks like it may be made by the same company. Don't know for sure, though. I got this to replace the Anker.

Now, both of my cars have new batteries in them, so I haven't had a need to test out the jumping capabilities of this unit, but I think it should do fine, based on my experience with the other like it. Of course, I'll update my review if it doesn't work at a time I need it to. Right now, I'm using it to charge my phone, as you can see in the included picture.

As a unit, it's not heavy, but feels solid. The cables for jumping are long enough to do what you need to. The case is nice and feels sturdy, and holds everything including some papers and the instruction booklet. Now, there is one thing: it does NOT come with a charging cable. You need to provide one for yourself. You'll also need a 5v plug to connect the wire to. You may want to bring this in the house every few months and check the charge (even the booklet...
