Amazon Customer: My experience with this pump was disappointing. When I first opened the box I was annoyed to see that it was packaged with the tube underneath the metal bottom permanently creating it and making me nervous about it's integrity, but whatever I can replace the hose. Oh a foot pad is broken off, nothing major. Crap, the lock can get rattled and block the a pump and stop you from getting a full pump, that is really annoying. But what got me to refund it was that the gauge would not go above 35... It is sad because the pump action and pressure was REALLY good, fast, strong, and requiring minimal effort. This is the best rated foot pump on Amazon? (At least in the way I filtered it.) Seems like that the bots got this one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sooz: I'm not sure if I like this pump or not. I was able to fill the front tire on my road bike and remove the nozzle quickly enough to prevent significant air loss. But, when I did the same on my rear tire, the nozzle would not detach as easily and I had to pump the tire 3 times because each time too much air was lost during disconnection. I'll use it a few more times and return it if that keeps happening. The valves on the front and back tires are exactly the same so I can't see a reason why it would be hard to detach from the rear one. *shrug*

ConnorT: The pump itself is built well, it works well and feels durable and sturdy with a great build quality. It pumps my bike tires up with ease and is not too difficult to do.
If I had to mention any negatives it would be the nozzle attachment occasionally being a bit stiff/awkward to clamp but I think you would get that with any pump, it’s not really an issue at all.

Careful: Bought to replace an old pump where one of the pistons had stopped working. Selected this one to save fiddling with an adaptor as I switched between my bike with one type of valve and my partners bike with a different style. Folds up nicely and sits in the boot of the car when we take the bikes on camping holidays. Nice and quiet, unlike the old pump which had an annoying squeak when being used. Would recommend.

Bernard George Jones: It’s easy to use and the gauge seems accurate. The one drawback is that the lock mechanism drifts forwards as you pump so that if you completely depress the foot lever it tends to lock at times rather than springing back

AJB0211: This worked on my finicky Presta valves. A bit of work to get it to force down on an uninflated tire with no locking nut but still worked in the end. Foot pump design is way better than hand pump, your legs are way better at applying force. The pressure meter doesn't work at low pressure (below about 30 PSI) so don't worry too much if you don't see a reading for a bit. The only big complaint is that the travel of the pedal isn't constrained so you have to be careful to only go directly up and down. Side to side motion will cause the pedal to collide with the sides of the frame. I'd be willing to upgrade to another pedal model in the near future that solves this issue. Otherwise, fantastic pump.
