Benedict J. Jackson: I've used this pump up to 400 PSI. Over 300 PSI, it starts getting very hard to use. The plunger is small, concentrating the force on your hand. The tiny finger indent on the barrel is not enough to resist the force required (especially because you will not get a firm grip on the skinny barrel in the first place). You will have to find a way to wrap your fingers around the end of the pump in a way that doesn't bump the air release valve or put all of the force on the pressure gauge.

The barrel that threads onto the shock stops swiveling above some pressure, forcing you to continue threading it by rotating the entire pump.

Because it has to read to 600 PSI, the precision of the gauge is about half what it would be if it only went to 300.

They had to make it bigger/less portable to support the higher pressure. I wish they'd just gone all the way and made it big enough to be comfortable to use, too.

john june: This pump is awesome!!! I'm a heavy rider and I have a hard time with the pressure on my rear shok. It could be the meg-neg air can I have on it, but never the less I need a good pump. This one works very well. Easy to read, comfortable to use.

Cbro: This is my second pump for my full suspension dh bike. First pump was good ratings and cheaper. Straight up couldn't even tell it was pumping had to push super hard and fast to get it to do anything then it would lose half pressure trying to take it off. NOT this pump, it is awesome smooth stroke that actually pumps to high pressures and though may lose some taking it off did not drop maybe more than ten psi pulling it off 3 times to check it. Super happy wish I had gone with my gut and paid more for this first.

Dave Regi: This is the real deal, unlike other shock pumps I have purchased that don't even reach 200psi. The RockShox pump got my shock pressured up to 280psi and more if required.
