Pamela: My daughters love this game, they have been playing it at least 2 days a week since they got it

George: This is one of those movies which deals with Mario and Sonic as video game icons from respective brands which leads to a pretty good marriage come think of it of uniqueness of what games you can put them in. I came in with some pretty high expectations and they got automatically lowered when I realized or certain things you can and can't do in the video game. I forgot what they are but if you want to get this game you better be a fan of both Mario and Sonic because it's a pretty big let down on my end. And the worst part is it tells you to do certain things and if you don't do exactly what it tells you you're pretty much in serious trouble when you do these things. I'm not one of the best video gamers in the world but it was such a letdown it's not even funny.

micah: It came in a few marks but what was important was the game itself no scratches or anything I would say just get the open box it works just as well

J. Le: Like usual Mario games, each round is short. It comes with a variety of games that challenges the skill level of the players and really brings out the competitive side of the players. I personally like the games in the original more (swimming, trampoline, relay) , but we had fun playing this too. Best played with you have family or friends over. The more players the better. We got lots of laughs out of this.

Mr. Fred: Having bought Mario and Sonic at the Summer Games, we were very surprised to see the changes for the Winter Olympics. It is easier to play but not so easy that it doesn't challenge. If you have a Wii board, it does add a different dimension than just using the Wii-mote. The downhill racing games, especially the Dream mode ones, feel alot like Mario Kart Wii. Another fun aspect of the game my kids enjoyed (boy-7 and girl-8) was the ability to shop at the Olympic village. They can customize boards, bob sleighs, skiis, and outfits. The one feature that I thought was cool was how you can set your weather channel to Vancouver and the weather there will be refelected in the game. At a minimum, my kids are now looking forward to seeing the real Olypmics in February.

S. Stoessel: I was a huge fan of Mario and Sonic at the Summer Olympic Games. Now, I can't play that game without comparing it to this one. I'm assuming that you have played the first game, but you don't need to have played it to enjoy this one in anyway. There are new characters, one in every skill type. They are Metal Sonic for speed, Bowser Jr. for all around, D.K for power, and Silver for skill. Also, there are more dream events, which are (thankfully) nothing like the glitching four dream events in the last. It has great graphics, and is much more easier to navigate. From here, I will give you a run down of some of the events and my opinions. You can, but don't have to, use your wii balance board for some events, including bobsleigh, my favorite.

FIGURE SKATING: All about timing. You pick your own musical choice from a selection provided (Some of the songs include Ave Maria, waltz of the flowers, etc.) and make motions with the wii mote in time to the music. It is one of my and my friends favorite, though it sounds and looks much harder than it is. Don't let that discourage you!
HOCKY: This is best with more than one person. It is the best multiplayer event in the game. My...

D. Clements: My family enjoyed the original summer games version. I was a little pessimistic going into this Olympic Winter Games since, in general, I am not a big fan of the winter olympic events. But I was happily surprised to see the great improvements made to gameplay from the previous summer olympics release. After playing this game, I am hoping the they release the next summer olympic game and incorporate the improvements made for this Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. In the summer games, you could play in a season-like mode, but only as an individual. The Winter Games allows multiple players, as a team or vs., to go through an entire 16(?) day campaign, full of unlockable features. The other great new addition are the "Dream" events. They are kind of silly at times, but if you're a fan of the Mario and Sonic series, you'll really appreciate the features built into these events. The other key addition for this game release is support for the Wii Balance Board in several events, but I have not tried using the board yet. The only negative comment I have is that going into the Dream Events for the first time, there is no real direction, explanation of what to expect or how to...
