Great book, great unravelling. I thought I'd be overwhelmed by all the character POVs but it just worked for this book. I had a few moments where I just had to sit back and process the revelations.
*Minus 0.5 stars for the continuity error on who rescued Olivia from the bog ;)

Overjoyed Mom: It took a little while for me to get into the book because there were several characters to keep track of and trying to keep clear the relationships each character had with others in the book. It was confusing as first, but as the chapters shortened it was easier to follow the flow of the book and once half way through, it didn’t take me long to finish because I wanted to know who did it!!

Kindle Customer: This is a very well written page turner! Could not put this down till I find out the ending. Very well written and doesn't give anything away. First time I read this author, but it won't be my last. Don't missit.

Ein wahrer Lesegenuss. Die Geschichte wird aus verschiedenen Perspektiven (aus der Sicht verschiedener Personene) erzählt. Und davon bin ich, ehrlich gesagt, überhaupt kein Fan. Oftmals hemmt das den Lesefluss enorm. Doch hier ist dieses wechseln der Erzähl-Perspektive fantastisch gelungen.
Das Setting ist grundätzlich bekannt: Menschen treffen an einem abgeschiedenen Ort zusammen und jemand wird ermordet. Dann beginnt die Mördersuche während niemand den Ort verlassen kann. Klassisches Murder-Mystery.
Doch bei dieser Geschichte ist vieles anders als erwartet und es ist herrlich wie sich am Schluss alles zusammenfügt.

A real reading pleasure from the beginning. The story is told from different perspectives (from the point of view of different people). And to be honest, I'm not a fan of that at all. Often it inhibits the reading flow enormously. But here this change of narrative perspective is fantastically successful.
The setting is basically familiar: People meet in a secluded place and someone is murdered. Then the search for the murderer begins while no one can leave the place. Classic murder-mystery.

MadhaviMadhavi: The book was delivered to me in excellent condition. If you are looking for a good thriller book then look no further… this is IT. I loved the book. It’s an easy read but the plot was twisted. Loved how the author told the story, by building one character at a time. It kept me interested till the last page and there was no way of predicting the end, trust me ! Highly recommend !

Peter Pazul: Jules Keegan (dites ‘Julia’ si vous êtes quelque peu intime), 34 ans, rêve d’organiser une fête inoubliable à l’occasion de son mariage, même s’il a été quelque peu précipité : ce doit être quelque chose qui fera ‘la une’ dans la presse ‘people’ et dont les invités garderont un souvenir dépassant ce qui semble imaginable.
