Jeffrey Kane: I got this to use in my coffee maker. So far so good! No problems, refilling doesn't take long at all because it filters through very quickly. Can hold quite a bit. The lid is great because you don't have to open or unlock anything, the water opens everything when your pouring in or pouring out.

Practical Guy: I find this Waterdrop filter pitcher water has a strange bitter taste, I've been using this for nearly two weeks now and its the same weird taste. Of course you start to get used to it same as anything you eat or drink. I have a Berkey systems water filter that's in a small fridge and I've been using it for years and really like the water quality when only using the black Berkey filters. I bought the waterdrop pitcher to use with city tap water at work but doing the comparison I don't know if I can drink water that tastes strange. Once I return to the Berkey I realize how much better the water is. If I had to rate water flavor it would be Bottled treated spring water, then a close 2nd Berkey systems black filters, then Mavea, then Waterdrop last.

Amazon Customer: I’ve had my ole Brita for 7 years and worked great~ I saw this one when I had to order a new water filter “Pur” I liked the sz of the filter much larger. The price for the new canister and filter was fantastic! So I tried it.. I absolutely love it! It’s a keeper and filters the water very fast in comparison which is so helpful since I recycle plastic bottles and use them to fill clean filtered water for softball games and camping and for my granddaughters for traveling in my car etc. It’s si helpful how quickly it filters the water after I get back from tournaments late at night to reload for early next morning.. Saves me a lot of time!

K. A. Quinlan: I don't like the taste of tap water at all and while our refrigerator has a filtered water dispenser, the cost of the filter drives us to use it sparingly. We've used a filtered water pitcher for many years. First we had Brita, then a Walmart version, then another Walmart version and when that one cracked and I found this one on Prime day, we decided that we had to try it. I'll never go back! The water from this pitcher tastes soooo good! And it filters far faster than the old pitchers did. I love that I don't have a lid to open and close in order to fill with water. I just put the opening under the faucet, the pressure of the water opens the door and when it's full, the water underneath the door closes it. I can fill this pitcher with one hand and no mess. It looks nice. The plastic is really clear and hasn't scratched though we aren't especially careful with it. I highly recommend this filtered pitcher.

The pitcher is an attractive baby blue. The photo to my eyes looked a bit more aqua blue. It is semi-transparent but not enough to really see through the top. The materials feel good. The size of the pitcher is much bigger than my OXO alkaline water pitcher, which was too small for my taste but it's fine. This jug holds enough water to last me about 2 days before refilling, OR I just refill it each time I take it out. It also comes with a little timer button to let you know when it's time to change filters - I assume it will base it on time like 3 months from now?

There is a nifty little spring port at the top so you won't have to remove and replace the lid of this pitcher each time you fill it up. You can set the jug in the sink and turn the water on. The spring hinged top port is big enough not to cause issue: roughtly 2" by 1.5". The spring is loose enough that the pressure from your spicket should keep the aperture depressed while it fills, you still have to turn your water off if you don't want it to overflow.
