Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Wireless Music Streaming

F.C. Boston: I was looking for a way to stream my Amazon music into my unused traditional stereo system in the basement rec room vs. buying another set of Sonos speakers. What a great solution! Takes about 10 seconds to connect and pairing with my phone is instantaneous. I'm ready to sell all my sonos speakers and go back to using all traditional speakers everywhere.

Ryan Lee: I will say like other reviewers your phone will sometimes default to it, but it takes two seconds to aim your phone to the Bluetooth item you want to use.

Devin: I don’t think I paid the $40 price tag this currently has, so my review is based on a $15 value I remember. It is easy to set up, connects quickly and automatically once paired, and doesn’t seem to negatively impact the sound quality. It seems to stay connected without interruption, even while listening all day. The connection range isn’t amazing, and it can sometimes struggle if there is a wall in the way, but overall serviceable. I have had this for several years, use it almost every day, and it still works like when it was new.

Biggest complaint: this stays connected unless you go in you settings and disconnect or if you unplug the device. While connected to other Bluetooth devices, this might reconnect or randomly take priority over the device you actually want to use. Very minor issue, but worth noting. I would not pay $40 for this, however I can see spending around $20.

E.H.: Pros: After trying similar frustrating devices, I bought this unknown dongle, observing 'Amazon's choice' and was not disappointed again.
Its installation is as easy as child's play, and the reception is reliable and stable against surrounding spurious electrical disturbances.
Cons: The dongle does not have a switch; it must be unplugged to switch off. Every time the unit is unplugged, a high voltage spike is generated, which eventually may damage the internal electronic circuitry. In future, Logitec may envisage putting a local switch with the body of the dongle.
However, there may not be any hesitation in recommending this Logitec Bluetooth Audio Adapter.

J Pavelich: Nice product, works with my vintage 1984 stereo system. However I did need to dig up a set of RCA cables to connect it properly to my system. The RCA at one end and input at the other end cable that was supplied was of no use on a system that old. 4 stars only because I had to improvise a bit but otherwise it works just fine.

NW: Purchased this to stream internet radio from my computer in my office to my Bose radio in my bedroom. Connects great and the sound quality is great. The unit does not disconnect when I put my radio on mute or even turn it off with my remote when I go to sleep. I can turn the radio back on if I can't sleep in the middle of the night and the stream is still there. This is great as other integrated bluetooth speakers I had would disconnect and the computer speakers would turn on in another room and I would have to get up to turn them off. This Logitech does not do that which is excellent. So overall this is doing what I wanted. I dropped one star because of a challenge I am having with the unit.

At night I connect my computer with an internet radio station on my computer to stream into my bedroom to my Bose radio connected to this Logitech adaptor. During the day I do not want my computer streaming into my bedroom. I want the computer to play into the speakers beside the computer in my office. With the Logitech paired to my computer it will disconnect when I push the button in my bedroom in the morning , but it will automatically re-connect after about one minute when I do not...
