These are pretty good, I don't even bother to take them off to wash my hands, I've gotten them a little wet before and as long as I dry it off they are pretty durable. The first one I had for nearly a year, before the plastic that clips into the band snapped, but I think that was more my error than anything else. It's also pretty good about counting your steps accurately. The app works well, I just get on there every now and then to see the data and it's fun to see how many miles I've walked that week, or even month. The battery is also pretty good, I'd say I charge mine every week to week and a half and it gives me warnings when the battery needs it. It doesn't take too long to charge, maybe a couple hours, I just mostly charge it during the night. It also has different font settings you can set, which it fun that you can stylize it. You can also choose how bright or dim you want it which is very helpful. And because I wear it so much, I hardly ever notice it's there till I need it, it's not heavy at all. Overall very good watch, good enough that if this one broke I'd probably buy a third of the same...

Julie Taggart: I liked the set up and its easy to read steps . It is a little larger than my fit bit . One negative, it is controlled by a one touch button and if you tap it accidentally it will start an exercise. Other wise value for money and does the job!

JonW: I have had it with Fitbit and Garmin. The fitbits die suddenly and get automatic activity detection wrong. The GArmin I had was too complex. It takes paging thru menus and when I did figure out how to get to trqack a run, when I worked it called it a walk but the last time at teh end of therun it was trying to tell me when to breathe.
This one is simple and cheap. I gave it 3 stars for accuracy becuase I think it has my heart rate wrong, at least differnt form what Fit bit ab GArmin got but maybe the Livikey is the one that is right. I don;t think any of the trackers get sleep right. FItbit thought I was asleep every time I sat down. Garmin seemd to get similar results to Livikey.
If you just want an idea of how your runs and walsk and sleep go and you are not interested in spending your gym time fiddling with your phone and tracker this is a good option.
IN addition this tracker does not use a cradle and special cord. The band comes off and the end goes into a USB port.
The downside is that the band will pop off it it under too mcuh stress.

Michael Ahola: 2 month update. Battery now lasts only 48 hours. Sleep tracking is useless. Clock, heartrate and step counter work. Little plastic piece to keep the extras band against the wrist has broken. Had to tape it.
Original review
Overall I wanted an on the go heart rate monitor and it does this. It's not instant and I don't think the app is too good for it. For example, you turn on the heart rate part, it thinks for 5-10 seconds, then shows a number, then that number changes over the next ten seconds to finally get to your actual number. For me, it will start at 55 and end up at 90. I don't know how accurate the app is either. For example today on my walk I got my heart rate to 130, but when I sync with the app, it says my max heart rate was 114 and resting 69. Dude, my heart rate is never 69.
The step counter is fine.
The watch part, hey that works fine.
Battery seems good. I can wear for roughly 3 days straight and then recharge is maybe an hour.
Now the sleep tracking. I read that what it does is monitor your movement. It does not allow you to set your standard sleeping hours so it guesses. For example my sleep schedule is 10-6 every day. My first day...

EndyblueEndyblue: If what you want is a basic step counter with a few added features, this is a good value. It seems to be well made. I did bump into some trouble getting the app set up but that was because the description in the instructions named a different app. The one you want with the latest model of this fitness tracker is Runmefit. But I don't use the app all that much -- I'm just in it for the step counter. Some of the readings don't seem accurate -- like a resting heart rate of 80+, 8 hours of sleep noted when it was more like 3 one night, etc. It is nice to be able to set things that buzz like when to drink some water and when to get up and move around. If you can't seem to get it charging when inserted into the USB, flip it over. You put it in wrong. :)
