They were healthy and looked fantastic. I did rinse them with gentle water flow and let them quarantine a day before adding them to my tank, but honestly I am very impressed and will order again!

MBKWMBKW: I was weary about buying plants online, but was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out.
The spangles were shipped and packaged well. No leaks. Live plants.
I didnt know what healthy spangles should look like (how green, how vibrant), so I put them in a ceramic tub in the pond for a few days, hoping the stagnant water would help them be healthy. Our pond was new-ish and pretty clean, but it was summer with 90+F degree days, and since it was Sept the pond gets only an hour or two of sun. I finally let the spangles free, and as soon as some algae grew in the pond, the spangles went nuts. Yay.
The first pic is the day I recd them. That's how many we got and what they looked like. The darker ones I think are the more mature spangles. Because winter is coming, I added a water heater to the pond a week ago, and it's set at 71-degrees. Fast forward and the 2nd pic shows how happy the spangles are (we got them about a month ago). Bright green, new growth, and probably 3x the amount we started with. The insects hover over the spangles and the frogs love it! I couldnt be happier!

DavidDavid: First off, the plants are just beautiful. Shipped in quality packaging and all plants survived the journey. Large healthy leaves and long healthy roots. I love them. My fish love them too, and will occasionally nibble at them. My larger fishes eat the roots enough to kill the plant, but the plants flourish in my betta tanks. They’re a perfect hangout spot for frogs and smaller fish. The leaves themselves have hydrophobic hairs that keep them floating and upright, which is super neat. Beads of water will sometimes collect on top of the leaves which can cause them to rot but it hasn’t been a major issue.
Then there’s what I can’t decide is a blessing or a curse. I think I finally understand what my math teacher was saying about exponential growth in high school. I can’t believe I only bought 12 plants. It took a few weeks for the plants to settle in, and then they EXPLODED. I see new baby leaves almost every other day. My tanks are heated, filtered, and have standard LED lighting. Enough plants have grown to completely cover two 10-gallon tanks with plenty to spare. I read reviews before purchasing and no, they are not exaggerating. It’s been exciting watching...

Frankie Bunny: I got these guys and they were healthy! They shipped in winter so I wasn’t sure if they’d make it. I waited a bit to write a review to see how they would do in my tank. So far, it has been a couple weeks since I ordered and the salvinia is taking over the top of the tank! The pads grew pretty big and quickly started reproducing. My only complaint, is that there were detritus worms attached and a mini-ramshorn snail. Detritus worms aren’t harmful just a little gross looking, but ramshorn snails reproduce quickly and can take over a tank if left unchecked. A lot of either of them means you have too much nutrients/uneaten food in the tank. I didn’t really wash the plants properly to disinfect them; just to rinse them off, so I would definitely look up how to disinfect them in the future before throwing them in the tank. It was my mistake just tossing them in after a little rinse. Otherwise, this was a worthwhile purchase and the plants seem pretty hardy.
