Celine: I ordered three plants from this seller, all arrived in good condition and very fast. This one is very healthy looking, bright green and very thick for a small plant. They package their plants really well, it is very hot right now and they put some kind of heat shield in the box. The plants were not wilted or damaged in any way when they arrived. I will update my review after a few months when I see how the plants do. I have not seen any pests in the plant samples when I was rinsing/planting them.

van gohvan goh: I got the product fast (as stated when in the order). The plant was very much alive all green and I did not find any snails. I have the Seachem Black Flourite and Fluval Plant and Shrimp Stratum as my base substrate on my new aquarium.

Divided up the plant and planted into the substrate. The photo shows (in one spot) how it looked like after 1 week. It's been 2 weeks and I can't say if it is growing or not. Every now and then I would see stems floating and I would stick it back into the substrate. Instruction said that it might welt not rot and that welting is normal. So far I think mine welted.

Tested the water daily and the nitrite, nitrate, pH, ammonia, hardness, chlorine, and alkalinity are all normal.

I will continue to monitor it and see what happens. I all goes well, I will buy another one to plant in my other aquarium.

Update: well it’s been over 2 weeks since I planted this in my new aquarium. Sad to say most of it are gone, floated away. I did pick those and replanted them. Some of them though I can see the root side turned brown, I presume they were dead. The pic I posted, only 10% of that is left.

Lee: Do not buy! Absolutely a waste of time and money! It's a nightmare! It will all die in 2 days or less! It will make a huge mess in your tank for you to clean up! There is no roots at all on the plants! They have a nasty jell that's all over the plants that you can't get off of all them! They also came with snails! If your lucky enough to get some the jell off the plants you then have to try and place each individual piece into your substrate! There is hundreds of individual little pieces! Good luck trying to accomplish this if you dont have tweezers! If you do have tweezers It's a very tedious process and not fun to try and do at all because there is hundreds of little pieces of the plant that you have to try and place one at a time in your substrate! After you manage to place all the hundreds of little pieces of plants in your substrate it will all die in 2 days! Then you have a huge mess in your tank that you have to clean up! Remember there is now hundreds of little dead pieces of plant that is in your substrate that you have to get out of your tank! It's all Very frustrating and disappointing to deal with! Not happy at all! It was a huge waste of time and money! Save yourself...

Jan M: We could not be happier with our baby tears. Delivery was super fast. Gel removal was a snap and all the plants were green and in great shape. We divided them up easily and they are now happily residing in our freshwater aquascape tank. We were so impressed with the health of the plants, prompt delivery, price (we compared) and convenience we have ordered several other plants to add to the tank. We like the idea of plants raised in this way. When we tried our local "aquarium" store we found they had several plant tanks they had recently had to "quarantine" due to "disease". Anyone that bought plants from that common tank took home whatever the issue was and has now spread it to their tanks and stock. We have no fear of that or of having hitchhiker snails, etc when we transplant these plants. Gel removal should not be intimidating to anyone either. Just a quick soak in appropriate water and a rinse with a little manual removal and the gel comes right off. We are definitely happy and will continue to be returning customers as our tanks mature.
